  1. Hi all. So my 14 y.o daughter recently got her naturalization certificate and we discovered they had her country of birth wrong, and her middle name was spelt wrong as well. They had the right information in her Green card, and her Canadian birth certificate was submitted as part of the N-600. My wife was initially told that she just needed to go to a local court and swear an affidavit and then get back to them. Unfortunately, the local courts wouldn't do this and says it is purely an immigration matter. My question is since the mistakes came from USCIS, how do we go about having them correct the error. I might add that her Nigerian passport has the spelling of her middle name wrong but not the country of birth/citizenship which is Canada.
  2. after oath ceremony, has anyone filed n600 for their child/children? Are you able to use your USCIS account for the filing or do you need to create separate account? Thanks
  3. Hi all. Me and my wife recently became citizens, and we are about to file the n600 for our daughter. Can we use either of our USCIS account to file or do we need to create an account for her? Thanks
  4. I was recently granted US citizenship, and we have done the swearing in. I am trying to file n-600 for my 13 y.o daughter. Can I use my USCIS account to file or does she need to create a separate account?
  5. Same here, scheduled for Friday, August 19th in the morning at the Royals Stadium.
  6. okay. I wonder if it is random how they decide where you go for the oath ceremony. I say this because we live in Springfield, MO and they sometimes have ceremonies over there too...Anyway it is nice to see that this journey is coming to a nice conclusion!
  7. I interviewed at the KC office too. Is there a place to check for oath ceremony schedule in the KC area, that might give an idea of when it is likely going to be our turn...
  8. Interview done and dusted. IO was very nice and engaging. Didn't ask for any of the documents I had with me just in case. Case status has been updated online to show "oath ceremony to be scheduled". I wonder if anyone has experience with the timeline at the Kansas City office from interview to swearing in? The journey is coming to an end thankfully..
  9. Hi all! Just got update this morning that interview was scheduled for late June in Kansas City. Looking at the letter, it does not look like they need you to bring along many documents at least for employment based green card holders. Anyone being through this previously? Did you have to take all your documents even though they might not have asked for them? Thanks
