I think i will also send mine tommorow...its was generated on NOV 5th and i have YET to receive it!!

hey guys...here a quick update on my case...

my IV bill was generated 11-5-07...and i received it yesterday 11-19-07...paid it via express mail today...

seems that they are not delaying the IV bill too much.....

...now i will wait for I-864 YAY!!

i actually have STILL have not received my I864....

i have the I864 form completely filled out and ready to mail out...since im getting desperate i was thinking to make my own barcode cover page (using james shortcut)... but the only thing i am worried about is the Authorization for Release of Federal Tax Data, i don't know if the NVC is asking for it now... according to other people that have sent their I864 using the shortcut recently they have not sent the Authorization for Release of Federal Tax Data and have had no problem.

i did put my case number on the money order..

i put the case number under where you write your address on the money order....

in the james shorcuts link it says that you must "include cover sheet and barcode cover sheet...my question is what is the difference between these 2?

i see...so in my husbands case that he has never traveled but has had 3 passports....lost his second one...he would only need to take his most recent one that is valid when he goes for his CR1 interview in El Salvador?

this my be a problem for my case because my husband (he is in el salvador we are doing the CR1 visa) he lost his old passaport....so he only has one..

do you NEED the passaport...or should one just take in to be on the safe side?

As is Russian custom and law, my wife took my family name when we married in Russia recently. Now she has applied for new passports so they show her new last name. I think this is the right thing to do especially as regards to getting her visa.

But she is concerned that maybe some I-130 or I129F forms or supporting documents might show her old passport numbers. I looked through the forms and did not see any questions asking for passport numbers but maybe i missed something.

Should we be concerned that she will have new passport numbers before the visa process concludes?

well mine took more than 4 months to get approved ...u just have to wait....it takes a LONG time unfortunatly...

i only filed my I130 for my husband so im not sure... on your IVbill it says what process you are doing currently... mine said Visa type CR1

i am also waiting for my I864 to arrive...i called the NVC and they said both the IV bill and the I864 were generated on the same day...nov 5th...i have already received the IVbill but i am still to receive the I864...i hope it shows up soon!!!

I received my I864 yesterday which was generated on Nov 05. NVC received my AOS fee on Oct 25. It took 25 days. Now you can count your waiting days...

I wanted to post my timeline. Can someone tell me how to do that. Thanks..

my husband and i had the same problem....he is in El Salvador..

he also didnt have any documentation....

instead of paying more money when he went to the medical interview...we just had another doctor vacinate him again...it was terrible poor thing got like 6 shots in one day!

but they need do need proof from a doctor previouse vacination.....
