  1. Hello my friends!!

I could use some help now! We went to the interview on 6/20 and Anil was denied the Visa. Our love is strong, but now we need to get down to business. I spent the last couple of days crying, now to get on with it..

I need to get letters of support from work and doctors, (I have several- have diabetes - on insulin, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and depression) and any othe back up information. I own a home in the US, and have a great job. I do have a brother that counts on me emotionally and sometimes financially who is disabled. Also, I have a friend who works for the government and travels a lot! I take care of her home, mail, etc when she is away!

Any specifics of what we need to have in these letters.. my friends, family, etc are willing to do whatever it takes,, but I want to make sure the letters state whey they need to with the thorough back up.

Another year of traveling back and forth seems like an eternity!!

    Please help anyway you can..

    Thanks in advance!! :help:

    Cindy

on what grounds was the visa denied..? you need to tell us all the details before we can try to help you.

  2. Somebody can help me, i have my interview in a few weeks and i lost my passport. I don't have time to get a new one, so i want to know if i can go to the interview with a police report saying that i lost my passport, but i don't know how i can justificated my trips. any idea? Please help me

you NEED you passaport for the interview....

you can try to re-schdule you interview until you have your passaport..i would suggest you go to the police report it stolen...and immediately go and get a new passaport...then call the embassy explain to them the situation and ask if you could re-shedule the interview

  3. Lawyer time.

I wish you guys much strength and courage during this time.

ok, so thats good that he was here legal. But i think that this would definetly cause a problem... a warranty is very serious!!....but you need to speak to a lawyer ASAP!

  5. Sorry you have to go through this Clairern, but do know that God's timing is perfect, you may never know the reason but His timing is perfect. Me and Marla went through the same ordeal with backwards embassy and had to wait an additional 6 weeks but we got through it. I wish you the best and stay strong for one another.

WOW it seems like the Jamaican Embassy is very HARSH!!!

they want copies all the forms and Originals OF EVERYTHING!!!

  6. So what you are saying that we should really have 2 original of everything?? and a plane copy as well???

    Bad News Guys. :crying::crying:

I am crying my heart and eyes out right now. Mike's interview was rescheduled for June because he did not have the second copy of the police certificate. I look in my papers and realized that I still have the extra copy. I had emailed the consulate, after Tonya posted and said Drew was asked for his, and was told that it was not necessary for him to have it if it was sent to the NVC

Now when he got there he was turned back. They did not even do the interview and schedule a time for him to drop it off, they rescheduled the whole interview. How can they be so cruel and disheartening? :o

I have to talk to him when he gets home to get the full story.

Learn from my experience all who have their interviews coming up. Make sure you have the second copy of the police certificate with you.

    THAT IS TERRIBLE!!!!

She means that she sent an original to the NVC.... but at the INterview they wanted the spouse to have another original ready to show at the time of itnerview...

its weired how each consulate is different...we were not asked for this at ALL!!

I told my hubby to have an original of EVRYTHING we sent to the NVC just in case...

have you tried calling the Embassy maybe you can get the interview at a sooner date???

They are trully terrible!! BUT DONT LET THIS BRING YOU DOWN!!!. KEEP YOU HEAD UP!!!!

    yes!!! for sure!!

    to the intervire bring:

a copy of evrything like I-130... I864 (tax information)...and all the other forms sent to the NVC

I would HIGHly suggest to bring an original of everything that was sent to the NVC like...birth certificates....marrige certificates...police report... all the originals that were sent to the NVC because even tought the Embassy is suppose to have them for some reason like in this case the embassy still asks for them

Example: in my first interview my hubby was asked for the I864 and tax return of 2004, 2005, 2006...which they were SUPPOSE to already have, because they NVC is suppose to have sent it to the embassy.... we were still asked for them! **its better to be prepared*

  7. Wow...truly sorry to hear that....you waited all this time and they sent him back just because he did not have the second copy...but they should already have the first copy...I will never understand the rationale of this whole entire process...it makes me sick..... :( ....don't stress over it too much though....the day will finally come for the both of you...

this is eactly what i am thinkinG!!! they are SUPPOSE to have the original sent to them by the NVC already!!

UHH!! makes me mad.....but keep your head up sweetie...your second interview will go perfect dont loose the faith!
