Based on the April 2026 priority Dates, would you recommend that I transfer the case (possible wait of 2-3 months for transferring the case) or move ahead with F2b for now without notifying about citizenship?

Hello Applebolsom, I currently reside in Canada, My parents received their citizenship in 2023 and since the F2b was moving faster, I stayed with F2b . so, NVC Montreal does not know about my parent's Citizen.

Hello everyone, My priority date is November 23, 2017. My country of origin is India, and I am currently a Canadian citizen. I was wondering whether I should transfer my case from F2B to F1, since the April 2026 visa bulletin makes my priority date current for filing. Or would it be better to continue with the F2B process? Additionally, could someone please explain the procedure for transferring a case from F2B to F1 for Montreal NVC. Thank you!
