  1. Hello! I have a question regarding an interview for AOS based on K1 visa. Do I need to have an original I-797 (NOA2 from K1) for the interview? Some backgrounds : We did our K1 process with a help of an immigration law company, so when our petition was approved USCIS sent them an original I-797 and we got an official copy I-797C. when I started to prepare my AOS package I noticed that and texted the company asking them to send me a scanned copy of the original I-797 via email (so I could go ahead and finish preparing AOS package), as well as to send the original document via postal mail. They sent us a scanned copy, but nothing via postal mail. I sent my AOS package, had biometrics. So do I need the original I-797? Or could I use copy I-797C? Or I do not need it at all?
  2. Hello!!! I am K1 visa, but they contacted me twice via email only first time they requested to send them via email scans of some documents, then in couple days they sent me a second email requesting to send them more documents via post but as I said above I’m k1 visa i have heard that some time ago they would send a Package 3 via post but now I guess they do all via email You still have around 2 months so I think NVC should be able to send your documents to the consulate in time But if NVC doesn’t send your documents to Tokyo consulate by beginning of August, you could send an email to the consulate and explain your situation
  3. Hello again J We provided an email when we were filling out the I-129 form so I think they should have your email address. But also there is a way to update it. Please use this PDF file page 1 to see how to update an email. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nfin98c33IEpB0T0FlURERriblYmlm5O/view?usp=sharing When our case was sent to the Embassy they sent us a notice email so it seems that it works but only when they already sent cases out from NVC.
  4. Hey! Our NOA2 is 17th of April, NVC got our case on 12th of May. i called then first time about our case number on 16th of May and no case number at that moment. Then I called them on 18th of May and they told me our case number. Out case is still at the NVC according to their track website. Also when they assigned us the case number, there were no notice email although we registered one. And still no email 😅😅😅so if I hadn’t called them, probably we wouldn’t have learnt it until it got to the Embassy. Did you register your email with them? The number that you called is for immigration visas. I called 603 334 0888. But it was before they announced suspension of the calls….
  5. Hello! I do not think you need i129f as the embassy should have received it from NVC/USCIS. i134, letter of intent can be scans but maybe it’s better to have originals.
