  1. Yes, that is exactly what we did :), though ours was not a K1 but still a resident visa. We also received the email to book an appointment.
  2. Immigrant visas do not require to book an appointment at CAS for pickup, as soon as you get the email just go there with a copy of your Colombian ID, tell them you are there to pickup an immigrant visa and they will let you in.
  3. Hi tbo It depends on your visa type. Family visas are basically current, employment based visas are very slow, currently they are interviewing people DQ in 2020.

What is your visa type? As far as I am aware they are catching up in Family Based, but 2 months I think it is way too quick as far as I am aware.
