did you get packet3 home or you have just printed forms from website? I requested my forms via email and i just got an email saying we have sent you packet3.....we haven't received your papers to set up an interview.

usually those first three alphabets represents city of the us consulate. in my case it is BMB means Bombay (india).

so, i sent email to mumbai consulate using ApprovalPlease's template (i only requested packet3). I got an auto reply back saying

So, I resent an email with the subject line = Request for Specific Information

and guess what, i got the same auto reply email again.

my gross income from last years tax return is different then my current income(current is more). my employment letter has my current salary.

thanks John and Celia. One more question, for my anual income, should i use gross income or my anual salary.

i134 form has expire date: 04-30-07. is it ok to still use that form?

ApprovalPlease, are you saying my wife can call mumbai US consulate and set up appointment for interview and request her packet by mail eventhough my packet is at nvc? (13-nov-2007 nvc received date). Thanks in advance...

i am collecting all the documents for k3 visa. i have been reading lot of post to see what others are sending.

i see some send i134 and some i864. which one is needed for k3? visa will be granted from mumbai us consolate (india)

I got about 4 touches in one week. I think two of them were because of phone call. I have been checking my uscis account every one hour. what i have noticed is that my date update always changed in between 10 am and 12 am. or between 10pm and 12 pm. (eastern time)

this is a blind guess but it looks like uscis updates their system during those time only.

Congratulations to all who got approved.

I called about a week ago. Lady told me that I will get an email explaining why there is a delay. I got an email from cris saying

Type of service requested:

-- Return of Original Document

For the return of the original documents, you will need to file Form G-884......

I called them back and lady told me to just ignore that email.

My case got touched the day I got that email. (10/22) and then again on (10/23). No touches after that. Is that normal?

May be I should not have called? New lady told me 180 days is from noa1 date. so, I will have to wait.
