i was told that when she enters my alian number or i94 number she see my husbands information instead of mine. may be the account is linked wrong?

my guess is that her info is just in the system. she told me that she has sent copy of my ead and passport to some office(i guess uscis). today when i called her she said this normal, they have to send application for verification all the time.

thanks for all the replies. i have been calling every week. lady on the phone is very nice but she keep saying that she did not received any verification responce back yet.

it has been 3 week and 1 day and my ssn application is still pending for verification.

do i just wait? or is there anything i could do?

please help, i don't see anybody waited this long to get ssn.

sorry, i forgot to mention that i do have EAD and Biometric appointment done already. My AOS is the only pending application. I see lot of other AOS applications are getting approved but they are all K1. that is y i was looking to see if there is any k3 AOS application getting approved or not. how long does it take?

i called and they told me to wait for 6 months

is there a list/chart of k3 visa holders who applied for AOS?

i am trying to get some idea of when my application will get approved.

it has been 91 days since i mailed aos packet and no touches since then.

should i call uscis or wait?

it has been two weeks since we applied for ssn. today, i was told the application is still in pending status. they are doing some verification....

how long does this verification process take? is this something to worry about?

yes, we do have EAD. everything was going so smooth. i just don't know what is happened.

two things

1) is there website where i can check status of my ssn application?

2) we went to ssn office today. lady put all of my wife's info in the system. then she told us that she sees my information in the system instead of my wife's information. She told me somebody put my info instead of my wife's info in the system. she also said this is not a big thing. it happens all the time.

she send some electronic varification email and she told us to call back in few days to get the staus. did this happen to anybody else?

1) there is no number on visa or i94 that starts with A.

2) my wife's medical is done only couple of months ago. is there a form for vaccination supplement? or is it same as vaccination documentation worksheet?

1) Use the A# that is on the visa or maybe written on the I-94

2) You cannot fill out an I-693 as it is the full medical examination performed by a Civil Surgeon. The I-693 is only required if the foreign medical was performed more than 1 year prior to the AOS application otherwise a vaccination supplement is all that is required

from google JFK airport is in JAMAICA, NY. is that the correct answer?

2) Nonimmigrant Visa Number

is this same as control number or number in red at the bottom of visa stamp?

3) Expires on (mm/dd/yyyy)

is this k3 visa expire date?

4) Part 2. Application type, I am applying for an adjustment to permanent resident status because:

for k3 visa, i should select option a, right? (my i130 is approved)

hi all, quick question,

our k3 noa2 has valid from to date. our interview date is 2/12 and noa2 expire date is 2/24.

does this mean my wife has be in us before 2/24?

does this mean my wife has to get visa before 2/24?

i m going to india and we are planning to come back togather if everything goes well. since, our interview date is so close to k3 expire date, i am getting little confuse about buying return tickets.

can someone help?

hi all,

just got an email from embassy. They have sent my wife packet4 and interview date is 12-feb-2008. I have done everything using email. packet3 was received via email, and interview date was also received via email. Not sure about other embassies but mumbai embassy (india) provides very good customer service via email. I encourage others to feel free to use it. All my replies from embassy were very gentle with needed information.

hi all, i need an opinion. i sent an original notarized i134 form to wife. her travel agent tells her "notary stamp on the form looks like a copy (xerox copy) of the form". I personally know that travel agent is really good and running this business for a long time. May be since everything on the form is in black ink, i guess i would look like a copy.

Should I sent new i134? (i just think new form will look the same )

just talked to my wife and she told me that her travel agent filled out ds-156 form online and printed a copy for her to sign. So, i guess it is better to print online and then make copy.

ya, i saw that too. we only filed ds-156 and ds-230. but information is miss leading. i got worried for a second.

just found out in k3 instruction package it says fill out ds-156 and ds-230 part 1. but on the following page: http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/k_visas.html#amc3

it says ds-156 and ds-3052.

just click continue and it will create empty pdf form for you with the barcode on it.

pkewl, my wife has actually sent packet3 now. I sent them another email and got reply back saying

"You may obtain a duplicate instruction package

> (Packet 3) at http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/ivforms.html and return

them to us at the earliest."

I heard from lot of people do the same thing and their spouses are here. I also checked on visajourney and lot of them has done same (it says in the comment section).

I hope everything goes smooth for me. I am going to send another email next week to request packet4. Good luck to you.

Urge to Race, can you add me to the list. my sent to embassy date is 15 nov, 2007. i got another email from mumbai embassy saying duplicate packet 3 can be found on their website (they send me the link), please return that as soon as possible. I told my wife to print those forms and send them to embassy.
