Hi All, we are prepping for our interview and our interview coach says it may look suspicious that we are choosing to get married in the US and not in India. He says why the girls parents would be okay with sending her to US without being married. Has anyone heard of this and what should we say to assure them it’s not fraudulent?

The 129f approved letter and instructions just got to my fiancés house but the date shows it expires on December 1st. It’s impossible to get the process finished since there is no date even available for interview. Do anyone know what we would do in this scenario? The PCC takes 3 weeks by itself. mumbai india

JUNE 2021 I-129F K-1 FILERS

Do you have an interview date yet? I was under the assumption we sign up for an interview date. The CEAC says it’s in transit and NVC assigned a date but I don’t see the date on the letter they emailed me. -
Also curious, i see the list of items needed for the appt and it has one for financial support. If my fiancé has a job, does I need to fill a f134 of financial support for her? It seems redundant but I could be wrong. I see the medical exam also has the vaccines. A prior member mentioned biometrics but I don’t see that as a requirement on there. Are biometrics needed?

Hi All, I’m filling out my finances DS-160 and the only question I am concerned about is the vaccination record. She had the covid vac card but not older vaccines. Should I answer yes or no to this question? ”Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with US laws?”

How did you find out your case was sent? my case was approved a day after yours but I haven’t heard anything yet. -
Hello All, is anyone aware if we need the NOA2 notice of the 129f approval? The Usps seems to have lost the document and to get another copy is 465$. It would appear that document doesn’t have any necessary information on it as long as the case does progress to the NVC and embassy. will we need it when we go for the interview or anywhere else?

Called the USCIS today and begged them to give me more info and finally got some info. After our case was approved on August 3rd, they sent the case to NVC on August 29th, a whole 26 days after approval. Given a month to net the case and another 2 weeks to make the case number, they should be sending our case to Mumbai in the next batch (I’m hoping). Extremely disappointed they waited so long to send the case to NVC. Time is precious and these people seem to think we have tons of it. Does anyone have any guesses on how much lead time is from being sent to NVC to embassy? I would assume 45 days or less?

Leaning on some knowledge here. My case was approved on August 3rd but has still not been sent to the embassy in India. Does anyone have possible reasons this may happen other than just a slow NVC? I’ve seen another case approved on August 18 get sent to UAE so I know they are processing cases. One thought maybe that the embassy in Mumbai is slow or backed up due to holidays in India.

Does when a case is sent to an embassy have anything to do with embassy specific case load? Example would be if the UAE embassy has less load they can get cases from NVC faster than a embassy for India which has a heavy case load. That’s the only reason I can think of for a delay if the case has already reached NVC.

Just tried the Emma chat feature and I got some very disappointing news. The agent stated the case, which was approved on August 3rd, has not been received by the NVC yet. When I contacted the NVCresearch email, they said they had received it and awaiting entry into their system. Has anyone experienced this? I’m hoping the issue is that the case is received but just awaiting entry to be “received” by USCIS standards.
