hi vj'ers i got my police cert now they did not put any date there they did not write that i lived here from birth to present is it ok?..but it stated there that i have no record and that im in good outstanding character..is this ok....or do i have to ask them to write a speific date?thanks

marriage cert (NSO)

Birth cert (NSO)

police cert for travel abroad

NBI clearance for travel abroad

xerox copy of the biographic data of my passport

2x2 passport pics with white background with case no. and my name on the back of it

i will also send a xerox copy of all of this docs..

hello everyone!! we found out that our ds3032 was generated on march 17 so we emailed the nvc on the 17th and got a reply on the 25th for checking my husband called the nvc and the Automated system said that our ds3032 was received..but until now the AOS bill still not on us..is it right that after they received my choice of agent (husband) the IV bill will be generated?can my husband pay the AOS fee bill now even if we don't have the AOS Bill from the NVC..

can we use james shortcut on our papers?if we will use this shortcut what should we be careful of?i read the james instruction on barcodes and it's kinda confusing..can anyone here know how to make it a little bit easier?thank's so much!!!!

we just received an email from the NVC regarding to our choice of agent it took us only 6 days for their response..im glad that our case is moving..goodluck to all of us...

I just spoke to an NVC operator and she said that my DS-230 was generated yesterday and I should receive it in 2 to 4 weeks.

However when I called the automated line just now, it is still mentioning an old message and not what I was expecting. I was expecting the messages below

DS-230 Generation:

"NVC is expecting return of the biographic forms by the petitioner... "

DS-230 Receipt:

"The NVC has received the checklist letter response on ..."

My question is, how reliable are the NVC operators. Should I believe her instead of the NVC auto system?

I obviously want to do the James' shortcut and dont want to wait 2 to 4 weeks for the DS-230 packet. I just want to know if anyone have any experience with the messages on the auto system being wrong.

How long will it take for us to get the email reply from the nvc?

1-2weeks or so but in our case it took 8 days before we got a response from them

Should my husband wait for an email conifrmation that he is the agent before he send the AOS fee bill?

Dont pay the bill until the NVC asks you to do so. It is important that you use the return envelope provided to you by the NVC when paying the fees

That's the address for the Choice of Agent, DS-3032. All bills should be paid to St. Louis. The correct address is as follow:

Make sure your husband creates AOS fee bill with barcode before sending in with $70.

When you get ready to send it ANY payments to NVC, make sure you write your case number somewhere on the money order or cashiers check. Thought I'd tell you that. take care

hi i filled out the ds3230 form so i could send it to my husband i entered my last name on the first line and had given all the info's..when i was about to print it my last name keeps on appearing under the second box on the item country i tried to erase it but when i erase it my last name on the first line dissappears too..can we just handwrite my last name on the first line or have it typed (typewriter)? and one more about the "place a barcode strip here before mailing to the nvc" can we also handwrite our case no. above this box?please help me tnx!!

we got our case no. 2 weeks after it has been approved by the uscis..don't lose hope call the nvc for you to know if your case is there already..

thank's it's clear to me now..the reception has sanctuary place where you can have a wedding ceremony if you want..our legal papers came from the judge we just decided to have a ceremony in the afternoon for our spiritual blessing(pastor)...thank's again..

hi there my husband and i had our cvil wedding in our municipal hall (judge) and in the afternoon we had our spiritual blessing from a pastor at our reception..we had also our ceremony there like in church but we did'nt wear wedding dresses our outfit is just formal..it stated in our marriage certificate that im a catholic so do you think this would become our problem in the future during the interview phase?we have so many pictures to show on our spiritual blessing proof of our relationship..im just confused if i'll show them those pictures..im hoping tht religion is not a big issue..
