Thanks a lot but do I have to send in tax return or any other evidence to support that form? Also since the deadline passed do you think uscis will accept my documents if I write a cover letter stating what was the delayed

Hello vj family. I sent another package of i601 waiver to Dallas as per USCIS website since my receipt number starts with SRC. it was delivered on July 11. A week now my check has not yet been cashed. How long does it take for USCIS to cash a check?

I sent my package via usps priority mail. I didn't send it to the express/courier address, just the PO box one. They let me have delivery confirmation on it, I sent it on a wednesday and the tracking number told me it was delivered on the friday.
Hi did you have any reply?

There's something going on here, if the check was bounced you wouldn't have received the I-485 receipt, but at this point it doesn't matter, refile a new I-485,I-765,I-131 as soon as possible, and if you don't have money to pay USCIS fees then file Form I-912.
Thank you so much for replying mam @sandranji was so worried, do I have to send back evidence as well.
This is what I got from uscis through congress person.

You can refile your I-485,I-693, I-131, and I-765 with a fee waiver or pay the fee. It will not take long to process your I-485 because your VAWA was already approved.
Ok thanks for the advice, I was so worried and thinking what to do now since all this happened, this is the reply I got from uscis through congress person.

I personally don’t know about derivatives getting PF’s and not the self petitioner, but one thing I know for sure and experienced, it does happen for derivatives to be answered first before the self petitioner. My daughter has her green card and I do not have one talk-less of C31 card…so it does happen
I need some advice, so worried. Hello everyone I have a question I’m a vawa self petition, my problem is I paid A consultant to help me file form I-360, 485, 131 and 765 all together in 2017,My vawa approved in 2020, however the problem is, my 485 the person I paid to do it didn’t do what suppose to be done, but I’m not certainly sure what she did with my form I-485, I contacted congress person to find out the status of my case, and I got a reply from uscis that I have to file a new form 485 because of the filing fee which was bounce in 2017, but I got a I-485 receipt notice. I wonder what’s really happen looks like she didn’t pay the filing fee and I didn’t know!!!!!!! and here I am waiting almost 5 years now for an interview and finally herd from congressional of what happened with my case….My question is if I go now an file another I-485 how long this will take for me to get an interview and is their any-evidence I have to send along with the 485 paperwork’s. Do I have to file back another I-131 and i765? I tried to send a massage @sandranj please I tried to inbox you but I think York mailbox is full, at least I know for fact she knows best, please it’s been 5 yrs and over and look what happen now @sandranj

I am also in the same boat. I360 got approved on Dec 2020 & have not heard anything on I485 yet. A couple weeks ago, I reached out my congressman & sent an inquiry for assistance with my case. Hope we can get an update about our cases soon.
Sorry to hear, I just hope we got some update anytime soon.

When i360 got approved , did you get any letters or etc if your case got transferred to nyc?
I dont even know where my case is. Seems it was never transferred from Vermont, but my attm doesn't care. She can't even answer where my case is , but back in 2020 she lied that it's nyc which was false.
@Evasn when my i360 approved it just update in the uscis app and their is no letter mailed from uscis about what will be next, right now I’m here thinking what happening and what’s really going on, my lawyer don’t know what’s going on either everytime I asked her anything concern my case I have to pay her, and her fee is very high, I can’t afforded. I just don’t know what to do anymore.

Hi everyone ,
Does anyone what to do in the following situation.
My i485 is pending .i360 is approved back in 2020. However, my attorney doesn't want to do any follow ups with uscis and now completely ignores my emails and calls . I'm sending inquires to congress and senate, and she does absolutely nothing for the status of i485 as I think it's outside of the processing time.
Should I report her to the bar association? I want to get a refund at least 50%. Does anyone know the best way to do that?
She charge me$10,500 to open a case with her, but didn't do her job. I built the whole case myself , literally everything myself and got all the information thanks to this forum. All she did was sent via FedEx to Vermont what I brought (like statements , all the papers ,affidavits and etc).
Same here with me I got approved March 2020 gone I asked my lawyer to do the same everytime I asked her to do something is only money she wanted so I just leave her -and I went to congress person for them to do an inquiry but I’m here still waiting on a reply since in December form congress but uscis didn’t even reply so their is no updates on my case on to now all the lawyers only wanted money. I did all my stuff too my lawyer only went through the stuff make sure it ok and she posted it that’s all she did noting else

Too long! Did they ask for a RFE? Did you inquire or contact the Congressperson?
@MubjaI only got 1 RFE I did send in some documents when I first filed, so I got 1RFE for good moral character, that’s all and I got approved in March 2020. Right now I’m here waiting for interview, I contact congress person in December 20, so far no updated at this moment, I get back in contact with congress person if their is any updates they say if no updates by 20th January they will send back another request. That’s all for now.

Hello @sandranj mam I have a question for you, I didn’t renew my c09 card since I got approved vawa, I only Renew c31 card, do you think I should go ahead and renew it now or just wait for my interview. I’m so worried at this moment if that would be an issue for me not getting an interview or so.
I also wanted to find out if I should wait an do my divorce after interview or just go ahead now and do it now.
Thanks you.

Hope everyone doing great, congratulations to those received approvals.
Seems Vermont is moving faster in new year.
sent EAD/AP (C09P) renewal on December 15th, they received on 21st, notice date December 27th, i received receipts this week, one month not bad. Now hope they will clear backlog and provide everyone EAD/AP and vawa approvals.
If so be the case that’s good 👍

Very odd part about NBC is that my lawyer had 20+ Family Based I-485 application filed after 09/2020 and all of them already had an interview at USCIS Chicago office.
Looks like VAWA I-485 cases at NBC are not following that pattern if we assume that my case was transferred to NBC back in Jun/July of 2020.
I know this is crazy, I wonder though, just hope it’s not any problem, let’s keep our finger cross🤞🏼
If it transferred to NBC it would update in the system and we would see that.I just hope everything is just fine.

Hey the timeline is on the pic I posted. And the interview was very awkward lol 😆 they ask so much weird questions and personal stuff and if I had kids and how many. The lady didn't look happy either. Lol 😆 so I was nervous. But she then asked from questions 14 and up on the i485 application.
Did your went by your self of with your attorney?
