Hi,
A quick question. On my Biometrics appointment notice, it has the application numbers relating to my I-485 and I-765 applications. However, it doesn't have anything on it about my I-130 or I-131. Is this normal?

I am not sure but i think that the biometric they made it to take your finger print and picture which they gonna put it in your EAD card or GC card, why they gonna take biometric for I-130 or I-131, they normally do that for the last cases, if someobe has information plese provide it but i am sure there is not errors.

I just got off from the phone and finally talked to live person in USCIS..

The customer service checked my zipcode and then told me to go to Raleigh office instead of Charlotte.

i got my biometrics appointment notice today,,
July 11.. bio appointment,, but i wonder why I was assign to very far local office? charlotte, NC?

Im just from CAry, Raleigh-Durham local office is just 20 minutes away from our place.

anyone know if we could call the NBC? or we should follow the place that they assigned?

Hi, congratulation for Biometric appointment, i read your question and then i made a research and i find out there is a lot of offices working under uscis, the one that you have to go to to get your biometric is Application Support Center ASC, which everyone when they have biometric they go to the closest one, and i guess the closer one from is where they send you too.

So i want to say here that there is different between Application Support Center, Service Center, Local Office.

Go here and find if the address they give you is for the nearest ASC or not >>> Here!

but im really so near in Raleigh/Durham --its only 20-30 minutes

but in Charlotte -- its' 3 and half hours

i entered my zipcode : it appears on both link u provided for me ---still Raleigh

hayz, we tried to call UCSIS and NBC too, no live person ...

hayz, oh well, maybe we will suck it up,, drive 7 hours back and fourth... than request another appointment, that so slow like turtle,,

You know what i would do in that situation, i would go i better go there early the trying to fight for something it may be make some delay in your case, so if the appointment is early in morning, sleep early so you can be there early at least 15 minutes before the appointment, cause make sure that you will spend some time looking for office, so do your MATH and calculate the time you need in advance, Good luck!

Just checking in if anyone with an NOA1 date of the 13th has rec'd their Bio letter. Nothing here yet.

Yes it is. Considering last touch was the 17th which is after i got my NOA1s.

• If you mailed your application or petition more than 30 days ago to a Service Center or to our National Benefit Center, and have not yet received a receipt in the mail, call customer service for assistance.

• If you did not get any other kind of notice—and you have a receipt number, and case status on our website states that we sent you a notice (other than the receipt notice) more than 14 days ago, but you haven’t yet received it, call customer service.

actually i have a quetion , i came to the states on a k3 visa , my second marriage anniversary is gonna be on september 11th ,,so now i got my Noa to my AOS on june 20th ,, if my AOS gets aproved after my marriage is 2 years old ,, am i gonna get a conditional GC or an unconditional one?? ,, thanks

Hello Saed, after i read your question, i went and i read the K3 flowchart and i find out that if you get a green card will be valid for 2 year so it is conditionally and you will need to apply for lift condition 90 days before your 2 yrs GC expire ... go here and find out K3 Flowchart

I am not sure if your point of view is right but i never read about that case before so i may be wrong, but i went again and i readthe FAQ for K3 visa and i copy out this main answers:

14.1)...How soon after we arrive in the U.S. should we apply for Adjustment of Status?

A..For most people, this will be "as soon as possible". The USCIS (INS) has made an assumption that nearly all K3/K4 folks will want to apply for AOS, even though a few will still choose to apply for an immigrant visa at a Consulate outside the United States.

14.8)...My status as K3 is about to expire, and I am still waiting approval of AOS. Is there anything I can do to keep my status?

A..Yes, you can apply for an extension of status with the USCIS (INS). This will enable you to leave the United States and return without needing Advance Parole. It is probably a good idea to extend the K3/K4 status if you plan on being outside the country.

As with renewal of EADs, your application for extension of status as K3/K4 will not be approved if you have never applied for Adjustment of Status, unless you show that your initial I-130 petition is still awaiting approval, or, if the I-130 was approved, that you have applied for an immigrant visa at a U.S. Consulate.
