Yeah I filled them in separate envolopes, they both went to Texas, so I am not sure what’s going on , I keep checking the uscis website I still see the same update” the case is received in February 2017 and we sent you the receipt” I even called the uscis and I got no help .. not what to do because i have not proceeded with my father case since i am waiting for my mother to get approved and forwarded to NVC.  if someone had gone through the same thing .. it will be helpful to get some insights.

I have question regarding my parent's Immigration visa process. I submitted I-130 for both my parent as i am US Citizen, My father case been approved and forwarded to NVC in august 2017 and not my Mother's case. When i check the USCIS it shows that my mother case still pending,  I am confused are both my parent supposed to be under same case number in NVC or they supposed to have a separate case numbers.

I don't know what to say about this, in the checklist they make sound like it okay to send just a few evidence, but with your experience everybody need to be careful and they need to take whatever they have because you don't know who IO you might be facing. -- I recommend look around for your green card in any folder or wallet or purse that you took with you, and made sure that you go back to the office and follow-up with the IO .. Good Luck!

Almost all male U.S. citizens, and male aliens living in the U.S., who are 18 through 25, are required to register with Selective Service. so if you become LPR after you reach 26 yrs then you don't need to register. but it is recommended to contact the SSA and request a status letter, which might help clear any doubts but it is not required.

What you are trying to send? I followed the instruction in the website to renew my passport and i got back in less than a week. if you need to do any finger print or anything that required you presence, look for the mobile consulate that travel from time to time in between the Major US cities. Good Luck!

Phone are not expensive in Morocco ... if you want to buy unlocked phone here and send it to morocco will cost you a lot of money ... i am not sure if you agree to the idea of sending him money to get a phone ... but if your fiancee works and have a minimum wage salary or no salary at all , he will be able to get a phone so you can reach him.

I have seen it before, but it is a good resource to have an idea about what they are looking for to avoid fraud.

They keep you passport, it is a good sign as previous members said. Be ready to present all evidence that you have in the 2nd interview, bring chat logs, more pictures, phone record, whatever you think it might help ... and make sure you know everything about you fiancee ... Good Luck!

Congratulation to everyone that been approved and good luck to whom their cases still pending.

I do have a question about Naturalization ... I am just a little confused about the time when you eligible to apply start when you get married or when you get your 2 yrs green card? so if I become resident in 10/2008 I am eligible to apply in 07/2011, is that correct?

Hope somebody can clarify this for me, Thank you!

Now I'm getting real worried. Jan 7th will be 3 months after my bio and Jan 17th would be 5 months since I filed. I just called USCIS call center and they said my case's still pending. Why does it take so long? Seems like I'm the only one who has to wait this long.

Does it look like I might get called for interview? How long does it usually take to be informed for interview? I'm so stressed out right now.

I understand your frustration, but i encourage you to wait a little bit more. this is only a waiting game, try not to think about it and just live your life and i am sure one day when you know that your case been approved you will check the mailbox and you will find what you've been waiting for.

I got a notice of Card/ Document Production today:

On December 15, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Hi everybody! it been a month now since i got my NOA and i have been waiting for the biometric letter but nothing comes yet, my head is spinning especially when some PR filed after me and got their letters but me not! would anyone knows what i should do? i am really beginning to worry .

Got my notice today but it was dated 8/9/10 the day after they cashed the check, by the way when i looked at the copy of the check i noticed that they wrote my case number in front!
