Hello, can you help me with NVC, I made a mistake on my DS260, I scrolled into the selection box thinking I was scrolling down the page and changed my husband’s country under previous addresses from Liberia to Libya. That was the only place every where else states Liberia. A Police certificate was requested, I did indicate not available in CEAC and explained in the comment box that he never lived there, is there something else I can do? I plan to submit a public inquiry. What document can I submit to prove that he wasn’t there and that was an error. Everywhere else indicate the correct country just one section of previous addresses.

Sorry posted in this chat in error. I don’t know how to delete.

  4. Hello everyone,

my husband and I were recently approved, I would like to prepared documents ahead of time. I have gathered that I need

I864 (which one) if I do not need a sponsor should I use one to be safe. Right now is just our daughter and I and he will be the third person. I work two jobs? I know I have to print out and sign it if I do it electronically in black pen

Tax documents( I compiled my tax papers from 2019-2021 in one document, will that be ok?
W2- I also compiled W2 from 2019-2021 in one document

    Passport Bio page- Petitioner

    passport Bio page - Beneficiary

Passport Size picture- 2 for my husband and 2 for me

    Driver License or Utility Bill

Police clearance- my husband got one June last year, will we need one with 2022 date?
    Husband Birth certificate

    marriage certificate

Pictures of our wedding and other supporting evidence

    am I missing anything.

Also how do I pay the fee? Is it an electronic bank transfer?

  5. Thank you everyone. I just have a few questions to reduce my anxiety for the next stage. What documents do I need to have prepared? I saved my tax return documents transcript from 2019-2021. I will be saving my W2s from those year as well. How much are the fees at the NVC stage? Is the Affidavit of Support  form on USCIS website?

I know I’ve to upload similar evidence I did during the USCIS stage, are there anything else.

Huh,  they just changed USCIS processing times site and now for my 8/31/2021 PD it is saying "Your case is processing normally."  and I can submit a ONPT request on July 31, 2022.

They also removed the table that was there previously.

At least you’re said July, I’m July 2021 and they’re telling me not to contact them before October 2021 for Texas service center

I totally understand. I really do believe our approvals are coming very soon. Try to hang in there. This will not last forever. I’m actually pregnant and we are hoping it works out that he is here for the birth (due in October) it is our first. I totally get feeling like the process isn’t fair. Don’t give up. ❤️ Hang in there!

    🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Trying .. Thank you 😊

July 16th 2021, Texas Service Center - I’ve been actively reviewing since Feb 15th, still awaiting our approval.

I been actively reviewing the same day.. Texas is disappointing right now, how could California improve and Texas no improvement. I don’t wish this feeling on anyone outside of immigration proceedings.. it’s so hard being away from my husband, Delays with starting or growing family, having enough PTO to travel constantly. It hurts my heart so bad… being separated from the ones you want to be closest to the most. I see in many Facebook groups a lot of 2022 approvals, im happy for them but what about us? After this long wait with USCIS, there’s still another lengthy process to go… I sent a letter to my senator and nothing.

A W-4 has nothing to do with with your immigration. It is just a tool for your employer to know how much to hold out of your paychecks to submit to IRS towards your taxes for the year. Because single, married, and head of household can have different tax levels, what you choose affects how much comes out of your paycheck. It is just an estimation tool that is designed to hold out enough to cover your tax when you file a return.  Married Filing Jointly will take the least out of your paycheck resulting in more money going to your bank. Single or Married filing separately will take the most money out of your paycheck. But if that turned out to be too much sent in to IRS toward your taxes, the excess would be refunded when you file a return.

Nobody sees the W4 except your employer. What you choose on the W4 doesn’t mean that is the way you have to file your tax return.

Thank you for your detail explanation. I received some wisdom. Thank you.
