    For India, they ask for Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) if fingerprinting doesnt work out. Must be something similar for your country too. Good luck! Hope things work out for your parent

    Why? What happens to her I 693 each time its submitted to USCIS? Edit: Are you submitting the I 693 in sealed envelope along with the RFE letter to the address that is mentioned in the RFE letter? I know its basic but sometimes we are so focused that we overlook it by mistake.

    My parent's I-130 got approved today. It was waaaaaay over normal processing time so it was high time. The I-693 RFE received date changed from Jan 27 2023 to Feb 2 2023. I wonder what that means....

    For my parent, I got a RFE for I 693 and I submitted the response on Jan 27, after which status changed to Response to RFE received- on the same day. Today my I-130 went from 'Case received and receipt sent' to 'Case is being actively reviewed'. I hope your parent's case also moves further soon. Good luck.

    My parent got an update. His I-693 that he filed along with his I-130 and I-485 is lost. So he received a RFE for I-693. We have to send it to local FO. Interestingly my in-laws applied in May 2022 and both got their green cards in hand yesterday.

    My parent's I-130 is out of processing time and eligible for enquiry. Does it at all get expedited if I submit an enquiry? And does I-130 approval help expediting I-485? The ** end of I-485 is October 2024 and we wont get Green Card till I-485 is approved anyways...

    Just to give an update on my parent's situation, on checking uscis, it shows that I-130 has to be adjudicated by Nov 13. After that we can send an inquiry. However, the date upto which I-485 can be adjudicated is ..June of 2024 I hope we don't have to wait that long.

    Just to update my parent got I 131 approval in mail today. Its just like I 797 approval notice one page paper...no card..valid for 1 year

    I was wondering what happened to your parents case. So yours is also stuck in actively reviewing.... Did your parents get their SSN? I wonder when we will see the light at the end of the tunnel.

    Our cases are going so slow ☹. We applied for parents-in-law's GC received at Chicago on May 2nd and 4th for each of them. They had their biometrics on June 10 and their EAD got approved and card produced on the same day. For my parent just an EAD took 7 months. Processing speed is so random.

    We sent my parents-in-law's application on April 27 and 29 which were received on May 2 and 4 respectively. They had their biometrics on June 10 amd same day their I765 changed to card being produced and I 797 to that effect for EAD approval is already seen in both their online accounts.
