They cannot just board the plane and come without visa unfortunately.
What are others doing in the same situation?
I cannot advice, it's not a usual case. Maybe their files need to be transferred to an embassy in another country where they can attend the interview. Not sure...
But who would i contact for that if the embassy in Haiti is closed? I tried to Haitian consulate and there was nothing they said that was helpful

They can't do that. They need a B visa to visit.
And based on the fact that you posted this on the 'Bringing Family Members of US Citizens' board, you will need to petition your family member properly. They cannot visit and stay to adjust.
they were in the process of getting their visa, all paperwork were approved they just needed their medical appointment made and interview schedule but the Embassy shut down and now i don’t know what to do to get them out

Depending on visa the length of allowed stay will be different. The maximum stay on visitor visa is 180 days. Work or student visa may allow to stay longer for different purposes.

My mom’s application has been approved at every step for some time now. All the paper work is done. Unfortunately she is in Haiti and the next step was for her to get an interview date for her medical examination and visa but due to the high rate of crime, i understand the U.S embassy has shut down till at least 2026, therefore is there anyway i can fly her to the U.S then try to adjust her status and request that the process resumes up here? How long can someone remain in a foreign country on a passport from Haiti? Please help

Apologies for the amount of questions i have, i just want to do this right. I have not seen my mother in about 20 years now.. For the civil documents, it is not allowing me to click on that tab, wluld i have to submit the affidavit and other forms first?
-
Because On the U.S Department of State website it does show i can upload the I-864 form as well as my W2, so i would imagine i have to just physically sign it then scan it and submit it online? Therefore do i resubmit my passport, naturalization certificate etc..?
-
Also on the checklist i noticed it said “For U.S citizens of U.S nationals, a copy of your birth certificate, passport, or certificate of naturalization or citizen ship” would i have to submit all of this again? In a packet then mail it?
-
I am currently having trouble with Part 3 (Information about the immigrants you are sponsoring) do i leave this page blank since in per 2 my mother is already listed as the principle immigrant?
To file this form, i believe i have to mail it in since i am physically signing it correct? Or do i sign it physically then scan it and submit it online? I understand my W2 is needed to be submitted as well.

The question only asks 1. What platform ( example Instagram or Facebook) 2. Username
It does NOT ask for log in and NO way provide it .
Perfect… also, it asks for me to list my morher’s previous addresses since she she turned 16 but we have a slight language barrier, i am just wondering if a couple addresses would suffice.

It’s a question on the DS-260 re social media accounts and usernames.
Obviously they want to know..so one theoretically “ has” to provide info if they really “ want” visa.
Does everyone..doubtful. Is it worth withholding ..probably not.So i would have to provide her log in for them correct? Not just the username?

Why is it asking you to log in? You shouldn't need to log into anything unless you are attempting to fill it up with an online version of Adobe.l and trying to access functions that require a subscription (that's when they ask you to sign into your Adobe account)
I believe there’s a slight misunderstanding, this is not on the form. It is asking if my mother has ever used social media and if so then provide her information for her Facebook
-
Understood thank you. But my question was, do i need to provide their log in information into Facebook where it ask for their log in information
-
I am filling out her forms and it is asking for their Facebook log in if i am understanding it correctly, do i really have to provide that?
-
Thank you! Any idea how long the waiting process is for a visa once everything is complete?
-
If anyone could help me figure out which affidavit to fill out i would really appreciate it. I am petitioning for a family member and i just paid the fees to fill out the affidavit of support and their documents. I noticed it says there are multiple forms of the I-864.. EZ and W.

Before i mail everything in.. i just want to clarify.. Part 3 information is for the beneficiary correct?
Also, is it okay to leave the dependents, prepare’s and interpreter’s section completely blank or put not applicable in each box? A friend advised me not to leave anything blank.

Thank you, that’s what i needed clarified!! You’ve been much help.
-
So far i have selected that i am the petitioner prior to coming into this page to ask questions.. I just haven’t filled out the applicant or preparer’s section yet because I was unsure.

Where does it ask for her signature? Your mother has no role in filling i824.
I answered below
-
So you’re saying to check the box that States im the applicant and not petitioner?
Also, Part 4 6a of the I-824.. Applicant’s statement, contact information, declaration, certification, and signature.
-
So this is still fixable? Or will i need a lawyer?

What do i do from here
