    They said Aug. 15th to 30th they'll be giving interview slots for refused students. there were a few F2A conversions in June. It seems like they've booked through Aug. 30th but hope I'm wrong.

    Maybe not til Aug. because the next interviews will be for Sept. Sept. 2021 ILs went out on Aug. 11th, 2021. So we'll probably know more in about a month. I'm hoping after the student season is over they will speed up.

    Is it possible they will accelerate after the student visas are over after Aug. 30th? especially given how many conversions, skipped people, and IR5s they have cleared the last few months. I know it's hard to wait but they've cleared a ton of immigrant cases these last few months, just not our type of cases. So maybe they'll focus on CR-1/IR-1 this Fall and Winter? The US Consulate Mumbai YouTube page has posted several videos about immigrant visa interviews recently. Hoping that's a sign.

    Most POEs are separate. I know some preclearance sites are together like Abu Dhabi but most POEs have separate for citizens and non-citizens.

    If you connect in Dublin, rather than flying direct, they have Preclearance there. Just have him bring as much proof of ties to his country as possible, most importantly his job.

    Has anyone here successfully paper-filed MFS with a spouse with no ITIN or SSN? I suppose most ppl are still waiting for IRS to process 2021 returns if they were paper filed.

    Yes, I saw that. Thanks for your help. The instructions are also a bit vague in that you could read it to mean put "NRA" but not your spouse's name in the entry space. But I think the way you've got it makes the most sense.

    Thanks for leading me to that page. So "Spouse First Name Middle Name Last Name - NRA" in the entry space below the filing status checkboxes. And, leave the spouse's first name & middle initial, spouse's last name, and spouse's SSN boxes all blank. I'm surprised no one in the immigration YouTube space has done a detailed video on this. The few who cover this are vague and not very practical. Before I found this discussion, I found very little detailed info on how to do this.

    My accountant prepared my brother's paper filing for him and only put his wife's name; no "- NRA" after the name. We both married non-resident aliens last year. So I should tell my accountant to do it like in this pic? It's a 2021 filing (I had to get an extension). I assumed you only need a spouse SSN or ITIN if you are MFJ.

    Just the I-797C. Not the entire I-130 packet. Just the bare minimum from the I-129F directions, which is very little actually.

    Y'all notice it only moved up to March 30th? I'm starting to think it goes by DS-260 submission. I wish I had quickly done the DS-260. Everything else I was just waiting on the PCC. Waited 3 weeks for that.

    Neither of our beneficiaries have US work experience and never lived here. We both were born here and worked here but we're only in our 30s. We both also got Global Entry, for which there's a background check. Maybe that helped? Who knows.

    We both filed K-3s. But who knows if it really helped or was just a coincidence

    My brother's I-130 just got approved after 2.5 months. He had the same lawyer as me for his I-130 but did the K-3 without a lawyer. Lawyer did not care he did the K-3 on his own.
