  2. Hi everyone!

Congrats to all of you who got EADs and interview letters!!! I'm glad everything is moving forward.

I still didn't receive my interview letter and I have a question, I applied for a new social security card with my married name after receiving my first card in my maiden name in April and it never came. I went back to the social security office yesterday and the guy said that it has been sent long time ago... Makes me feel worried...

Could my interview letter have been lost too?? Is there a way of calling? I never had to call USCIS so far so I don't know what to do... all the VJ members that have similar timelines as mine got their interview letter already...

    Thanks guys!

Aloe: just to let you know that I keep my fingers crossed for you!!! Good luck!!! (F)

  4. Hi I just called one of the civil surgeons here in NY and they are asking me to do all the blood works again like HIV, tb, STD. But I told them that I already had it on the Philippines and that what I need right now is for them to transfer my vaccine but they said if I can give them a proof or show them the results that I had before they would transfer the vaccinations without the test. But how can I show it to them? Im from the Philippines and they never gave me the results except the DS-3025 for my vaccine because Im sure my medical is still with the USCIS? Im confuse now. SHould I undergo the tests again? or should I look for another civil surgeon?

Your medical is valid for 1 yr. DS-3025 is your medical record bring it with you. Some surgeon will just transfer your record but some wont do it unless you will undergo physical exam.

  5. I know how BS to experienced such thing but don't give up and try to explain to them that you need a joint account for you and her are married now.

Try another bank you may able to find nice person to assist u. Don't forget to bring her passport with your marriage contract and other supporting papers to assist she is your wife. Tell them also that CFO id is valid as an identification as long as it has stamped on it.

And if they are not going to grant your request, i guess you have to wait for her EAD to have SSN, State ID or any identification she is needed.
