I agree the US is so F--- up. A married US citizen has to jump through hoops to bring a family member but someone from Mexico can just walk over have a baby and the baby gets to stay. My wife is Filipina and became a US citizen last March. It took us 8 months to get her parents to the US. Her sister and brother will have to wait 10-20 years. This country is so worried about helping other countries and not US citizen that's why the US economy is so bad now
DON'T even try for the tourist visa. You will not get it an just waste your money to file.

My wifes parents just called and let us know they were approved. They paid 150.00 peso to someone outside and they held the phone for them.
I told my wife I am going there and open a cart for holding electronics for people going to the embassy. Just 50 people a day at 150 pesos is 7500 pesos a day at 5 days a week its 37,500 a week x 4 weeks in a month you have 150,000 pesos a month. Who is with me.

As a US citizen he can enter the Embassy just buy showing his passport. Don't need a reason to enter. As a US citizen they can't stop us from going into the Embassy. Yes he should be able to go with you to the interview also.
