It is difficult to wait...interminable at times.

It is difficult to go and see your loved ones too, knowing you have to say good bye at some point.

It is difficult to even say good bye on the phone, or on the web cam.

It is difficult to imagine being without them at all for any length of time.

I feel all the pain with you as we wait, no matter what stage of the process or journey we are in.

What is not difficult to see, is how much every one of us loves and cares about our SO. This can make me smile

Hello my October buddies!!

I cant believe it! We got our NOA2 in the mail today!!! It says the notice date is Feb 14th. I am signed up for the email notification, but didn't receive an email at all. I check the USCIS page everyday but it only changed once on oct. 26th and once on feb 14th. I considered them both touches but i guess the 14th was the real deal!!! In fact it still says when I login that our case is received and pending.. but the paper is good enough for me!!

I was starting to loose faith in CSC with its poor performance since feb 13th... but have hope I am sure it is coming soon!! Hang in there everybody!!

Hi everyone. I just got home from Morocco last night from spending time with my sweety and I checked our status today and we were touched yesterday. I am so excited. Hopefully approval today or tomorrow.

Yes, I agree. There are a lot of older filers still waiting. I'm not sure why that is. I've seen several late Aug. filers coming through CSC, so hopefully it won't be much longer for you all there. I know that some people get hits on their names, but I'm sure you'd have a touch if that happened. I have a suspicion that I may have a hit on mine because of my dad (Long story). Anyway, I think February for everyone from VSC, but we'll see what happens. I'm trying to be very optimistic....lol

Don't worry too much about being touched. According to what I've read, your file gets touched when it gets to someones desk. Most times it is approved in minutes or if they get a hit on your name for some reason it goes to another department. Even if there is a hit, I think it would be approved soon. Of course that is how I understand the process.

By the way for all you VSC filers, there was a 10/17 & 10/21 approvals on the 13th. I'm hoping they are getting closer to us late October filers. We'll see

Our NOA1 date is around the same time some of the others at the VSC are receiving approvals. Very, very cool. Hope to see a lot more good news around here in the meantime. It's difficult planning a wedding with this whole thing up in the air...

And hope those California slackers get moving too...

I will be here with my family for Christmas. I at least have my kids with me to celebrate. I'm looking forward to going to see my sweety in February I'm so excited for that. I'm also hoping for a Feb. approval. We had our NOA1 issued on the 25th of Oct. and Morocco doesn't seem to be getting approvals as fast as the others right now. Not sure why. Maybe people just aren't updating their timelines. I hope to see them moving soon though. I did read someone's review for Morocco and she said that she had no touches at all until the day her NOA2 was issued. I really hope that will be soon. Happy holidays everyone!!

Ok, so I was looking at the K1 timelines today and there is someone on there that had approval in just only a month from Vermont. Why would they get theirs that fast? They had a NOA1 on 9/28/07 and NOA2 on 10/30/07. Their interview is 1/11/07. That's irritating!! I saw someone else from Vermont that had approval in just over a month. Maybe it depends on what country your SO is from. I don't know. I'm still hoping for one soon. Sorry, just needed to vent a little...lol

Mine keeps getting pushed back too. I'm trying to not worry about it though. They were behind and that is reflecting the averages. I think they'll get better as they catch up. We'll see. I'm just excited right now because I'm going to see my Sweety in February again At least it's something to look forward too and get our minds off of the wait.

Well, we also met online in Oct. 2006. He sent me a message that I didn't receive until the next day. When I did get it, I sent a reply which I rarely ever did. After that we talked every day since. We are a lot of alike in the way we think and things like that. It didn't take much to fall in love with him. Unfortunatly, I was only able to visit him 1 time. I'm a single mom with a home business that I can't leave for long. When I do leave, I don't get paid. That makes it really hard. Hopefully he'll be here soon and we'll be together forever

As for VSC, I think we'll have approvals in February. They really are getting faster by what I've seen, so I'm being optimistic about that. As for NVC, I don't know. I guess they are backed up now too. but hopefully it won't be long after.

Pennsylvania is the same with that weather. One day it's warm and the next it's so cold. Right now it's very windy here. I too want my fiance here to see his reaction to the cold. I tease him about it all the time

Yes, I do think a Dec. or Jan approval will be very fast at this point, but who knows. Anything can happen, but I would not rely on that. I'm guessing February from what I've seen.

Hi October filers! Well, it's now December and we're coming up on 2 months of waiting now! I hope everyone is holding up okay and that the wait isn't driving anyone crazy yet...

It looks like both Vermont and California are making good progress on the July filers, and they seem to be cranking out the approvals at a pretty good pace. Our turn will come!

I was just looking at the timelines and there is a couple that received their NOA1 on Aug. 14th. They got their approval this week from Vermont. That looks very good for us right now. Sorry, I didn't check any other centers, but I am very happy to see that Aug. filer get their approval. That was just over 3 months, so they seem to be catching up again.

We have had this conversation and have had it several times. Yes, I know that it hurt him to know my past, and I hated that. Now anytime something is brought up from my past I get very defensive. I think that makes it worse, but I just can't help it. He says that nothing will change how he feels about me or our future, but I don't like to talk about it with him. I do understand completely how you feel about this. Hang in there!!
