    1.  Not a problem

    2.  You must submit the latest, CURRENT information.

    3.  1 paystub is enough.  Current annual income is calculated as follows:

Gross income from current paystub multiplied times the number of pay periods in a 12 month period.

    Thank you so much!
if we decide to send it once he starts his new job, do you think it will be a problem since it’s new?

  2. Hello everyone
I arrived in the US on a K1 visa on 5/15 and married my fiancé on 6/23 we are organizing all the AOS paperwork to send it in the next few weeks.

My fiancé was just offered a promotion at a new company and would start in 1 month from now if he accepts (at both his current and new job he would earn above +125% of the poverty line).

    - Do you guys think it can be a problem that it is a new job?

    - Is it better to send the i-864 with the information about his new job or send the i-864 with his current job?

    - What kind of evidence can we include? We can get a letter of employment but we would have at most 1 paystub from his new job, we also have the tax transcript for the last 3 years.

    Thank you very much.

  3. Hello everyone,
My fiancé filed his taxes on Feb 2nd and we still do not have the 2022 tax transcript. I have received package 3 from the US embassy in Madrid where they ask me for the most recent tax transcript, however, the most recent one we have would be 2021.
In 2021 my fiancé was not working for his current company. He has been working there since January 2022. In both companies he exceeded poverty lines.
All we can do is submit the tax transcript for 2021, W2 for 2022, plus pay stubs for the last few months and the welcome letter from his current company stating the annual salary.
Do you think this is enough or do you recommend us to wait for the 2022 tax transcript?

    Thank you so much!

No, he does not have to sign tax return transcripts.

    Okay, thank  you so much!

he should get the IRS transcripts (all pages)

this is a transcript that IRS does when processing our taxes  and has no signatures

Thank you! I was just wondering if it's okay for him to email me the transcripts and just print them or if he needs to print them, sign the pages, and send them to me so i get the "original" ones.

Not an expert, but I would suggest taking the 2021 tax return and copies of his pay stubs over the last ~6 months. That way you can show he's been working up to present and still meets the requirements.

    Thank you so much!

He summited his taxes yesterday and we just need to wait for the transcript. Fingers crossed we'll get it on time! 🤞

  6. Hello everyone,

Our petition was sent to the U.S. Embassy in Madrid today.
In January 2022 my fiancé started a new job and was all last year there and continues in the same job as of today, but the 2022 tax transcript will not be available for 3-4 weeks after he uploads his taxes.
What can we do if the 2022 tax transcript is not available when I am asked for package 3?
Would the 2021 tax transcript and a letter from your employer explaining how long you have been working and how much you earn annually be sufficient? We can also send pay checks.

    Thank you in advance!

Don’t collect papers yet because you will need 2022 tax papers. I don’t think. You’ll get approved this year and make an appointment for embassy. It’s even questionable for august fillers

Yes, I'm sure I'm going to need 2022 tax papers because I don't expect to hear back until December or January, but I was wondering if the tax transcripts that can be downloaded directly from the irs website are enough.
Thank you very much for replying 😊

    I see.

    Congrats on the Approval.

Hopefully they start speeding things up, otherwise it'll be a 15 month wait for September  2021 filers

True. I think next month they are going to lengthen the time to 13-15 months because at the rate they are going they can't possibly finish April in this month.
I can't understand how they are so slow right now and few months ago they were approving cases within 7 months. It's so frustrating 😓

It is an issue with the accented character in PÉREZ. Once you reach the interview phase, just drop the accent when filling your form and type PEREZ.

And when posting, conceal any personal information.

Thank you so much, I was kind of nervous about it because I thought I had to inform someone and that would delay our case.
I feel better now that I know I can correct it later on.
Also, thank you for letting me know about concealing personal information. Will do.
    Thank you so much again!

Yes. From the I-129F instructions >>

Item Numbers 10.a - 10.c. Other Names Used. Provide any other names your beneficiary may have used including their aliases, maiden name, and nicknames.

Okay!  I have read so many different opinions that I didn't know what to do 😫

    Thank you so much!

  11. Hello everyone!
We have almost everything ready to send the K1 visa papers, but there is one question I am not sure about. On the I-129F form, part 1, in the question of other names used.
My fiancé has a Korean name which is his birth name and it is the one that appears on all legal documents: birth certificate, passport, credit cards, etc. However, when he moved to the US he started using Justin as it was easier to pronounce.
This name does not appear on any legal document, but everyone knows him by that name. It appears in his emails, social networks and on his business cards. I just call him Justin, never by his original name.
Should we put Justin in the section of other names used, even though it does not appear in any legal document?

    Thank you very much!
