  1. Hello Mrs Balogun

I do know of a person who was in the exact same situation and then the CR1 finally moved along and an interview was scheduled.

This was successful only due to divine intervention. They were ready to deny them or put them back on AP under the CR1 but this person demanded a dual interview, traveled there 3x in a matter of 2 years. They granted the dual interview, interrogated the both of them for about an hour and scrutinized every piece of paper. This would of been another AP or denial situation since they will know the k3 is under AP. It all depends on why you're under AP. They were under AP for speculation of a fraudulent marriage. She had to come strong with a box full of documentation, bills in their names, phone records, about 100 letters from family & friends, photos of all the family even went to visit the village to take more photos. Tons of questions were asked of both of them to see if the info corresponded. This person spent 2 long years not to mention the expense of flying back & forth for interviews. This last interview finally nailed it! It all depends on what's going on with your case. She really had a box full of evidence the last time.

I hope everything works out for you. Be prepared to face the same situation on this interview since they will know its the same couple. try to overcome the issues this time around.

    All the Best!

  2. I waited close to 5months for my NOA1. This was during the backlog though. You should be getting something soon. I would keep calling every so often. It's tough to advise at this stage since without a receipt number there is no way to track the info for you when you call. It's a waiting game at times. If your check clears then that's the beginning of your proof and then you can call back with this info. The receipt number is on the back of the check but is often illegible or incorrect.

  3. For me the K3 route is the fastest and best in terms of being together quicker with my husband. Nigeria has a 7-8 month wait for interviews so the $1000 to adjust and dealing with not working for 3months is obsolete for us in this situation. Find out the waiting time for interviews in you're spouses Country first before you make the decision. I got approved for both as well but my K3 is on it's way to the embassy and the interview is 2 months for the k3 oppsed to 7-8 months for the CR1. If I could stand being apart from my husband for close to 2 years then the CR1 would have been my choice but a marriage couples should not be apart for this long or else the strain on the marraige willbe more detrimental than paying 1k and waiting 3mths to work. Acarefully consider the Country youre spouse is from and the interview timefram.

  4. Hello Girl!

Well.... If you can answer yes to "Can you trust him"? Are you sure you want to marry him? A good list of why you want to marry him?

Are you ready for the Immigration journey? You shouldn't be denied unless there are serious issues in his past which would prevent him from being approved. If there aren't then you should be good to go. It can be lonely and expensive at times but if you're sure he is the one for you, not just being in love but having the WHOLE package, then LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN!!!!!

You listed K1 so I'm assuming you're not married yet.

    WELCOME TO VJ

  5. Yes,

I got both petitions approved at Vermont.

Also, I agree, it could be there by tomorrow.

As for the other question asking how do I know the interview timelines for the country.

For me, I went onto to the African Sub website and looked at the timelines posted by Zenusah. She has timelines posted from waiting for NOA1-NOA2, to time from NVC to interviews being scheduled. I also read the latest threads for those who filed K3's for Nigeria and compared all of their timelines and threads. It's taking on average about 5mos. This may not be the case for other countries though.
