It may take upto a month for Biometrics to be scheduled if it was not reused. you are still within the window. If you dont see anything 30 days after filing, you may want to talk to USCIS hotline to find out what's going on

Hi, I was checking the case tracker, i found something unique. Anybody else has this tracking number starting with this series IOE906430XXXX.

I didnt find a single N400 application or any other application from 2022. Are these numbers being reused?

Is she already in the military? If so, she can have her citizenship expedited as a service member. My wife went in the Air National Guard before becoming a U.S. citizen, but was only eligible for non-security jobs. She got her U.S. citizenship right after Basic Training, but she stayed in her same Guard job for 6 years. After she got out of the Guard, she received an active duty direct commission as an officer in the Air Force Nurse Corps. She is now a Captain, with a Secret clearance. We are currently in Germany, awaiting word of where we will be assigned next in 8 months from now.

    Hi Ma'am,

Yes she is in the military, I don't know. about expedite. We have submitted the n400 application online. Happy for you folks, congratulations. I am still waiting to hear back from USCIS. On the portal it doesn't say anything. So have to see how can we expedite this.

You meant not having to go to ASC? Since you already have a biometric use you wont. Multiple background checks (name check, prior immigation checks all of that) typically happen at NBC and once its ready for processing gets pushed to your FO for interview scheduling and ISO review with interview and final adjudication

My apologies, inaccuracy in what I posted. I did not see the notice for biometrics reuse. So I will have to goto ASC for biometrics.

I don’t know what OCS is, but don’t even attempt applying to a position requiring citizenship if you’re not already a citizen. Plenty of folks got burned selecting USC box while not having certificate in hand - comes up at some point and they get denied citizenship and/or job (with clearance or not).

BTW, may want to fix your profile - you can’t be naturalization (apr- approved) if you haven’t taken an oath yet.

This is for my wife she doesn't have a login, OCS is office candidate school. Basically to be an officer in the army need secret clearance plus citizenship.

Will not drop a packet without a naturalization certificate in hand. We cannot even do it with a pending N400 right? Will it cause an issue with the citizenship?

Not necessarily. Just that it saves you a trip to the ASC for that step. There is no logic to how cases are processed. Some variables at play are how fast your background checks complete and what algorithm your field office uses to schedule applicants. Irrespective of whatever they say around processing in the order in which its received, i dont think thats the case.  I'm sure they are trying to process applications in a specific order to keep their metrics clean. Hence you see some folks getting interviews in record time vs some lagging for months or years.

Understood, I did see that there is notice of biometrics reuse. I guess we have to goto ASC. Background checks would be USCIS and FBI check right? Most of the processing is done at NBC right, post which its transferred to the field office right?

    "Secret clearance"?   LOLOLOLOLOL.

No expedites for secret squirrel clearance.

Need the citizenship first to have a clearance. So that's why I needed it. Have to put in a packet for the OCS.

Are you military member? If yes, ask for assistance from your legal office.

if not in the military, no, it can’t be expedited.

Yes AD at the moment, need it for OCS. Cant do it without a citizenship. Need a clearance before I can submit a packet.

  7. Hi All,

I have a question, can the naturalization be expedited? Need it for application for secret clearance. Is there a way to do it? Have submitted n400 online and currently waiting. Have the receipt number starting with IOE which probably means that it is at NBC. I am assuming once NBC finishes their process they send it over to the FO for interview scheduling right?

Any Feb filers who requested expedite for EAD?  Was it successful? what documents did you fax? Thanks in advance!

We did, process we adopted was asking for a tier 2 officer call back and then approach the congressman as well. Once a case officer has been assigned to your case they will ask for a proof. Some even got the card without a proof being asked for.

Applied in September 2021. I-94 was well in date. Local office waited so long to send my application that the i94 expired… so I had to wait until I received my green card so that I could get the SSN with that. Received my green card in early March 2022 and still haven’t got my SSN. Local office told me that since I didn’t have my SSN yet, I should apply in their office. I did so, bringing my green card with me as new evidence and they said there was an issue so I had to go home and wait for a response. Later found out that their new application had now conflicted with my existing SSN application that was with my green card application…

the whole thing has been ridiculous and the local office are now just putting me through to voicemail when I tell them my name!! They all seem shocked that I still don’t have my SSN but no one seems willing to help. The save database has now finally showed that everything has returned but my local office still say that it hasn’t. The save database has said that for almost 2 weeks now, yet I still have no response from any office…

I dont know where you live, but you should follow up with your congressman. Ask them to put in a query to SSA agency. Once they have a complaint/query on record they will definitely respond back?

Thank you! I don't have an interview yet, my case is stuck at ''actively reviewing'' since the end of March, when USCIS acknowledged my RFE evidence. However, I am researching on how to expedite my EAD based on a few freelance offers. Would you mind sharing a bit about your process?

Pretty much similar, where we had asked for a expedite based on a pending job offer. Once we got the notice from USCIS to share the information via fax we faxed it.

Yes, we have plenty of photographs.

Maybe it's because I am European, but having a joint account is very unusual to me. I do believe though that every couple and their financial situation is different so it may not necessarily be considered a red flag. Thanks for the input!

Understood, true it might not be the case for you. Good Luck to you. When is your interview?

Any February 2022 filers received their EAD

Yes we did. We had expedited based on job offer.

I have a question... I am in a situation where I don't actually have any joint evidence:

    - No joint phone bills (my UK & Skype rates are much better)

    - No rent leases or mortgage (husband owns the house)

    - No joint bank statements (I use his card if needed)

    - No joint loans or joint investments

    - No joint income tax returns (he filed separately for 2021 and I didn't have to file at all)

    - No joint family insurance plan (this is our mistake but it's been a confusing process and we will change that - currently we have two individual insurances, but that is not until 2023, if by any luck, our interview happens before that)

I am simply curious... How much of the joint evidence do I actually need? I'll have to get some just for the sake of the interview (I wouldn't otherwise), so I'm assuming it's relatively easy to get my name on one of the electricity bills, but what about other proof? Would it be enough to just come with a bunch of mail/doctor's appointments addressed to me or him to the same house?

    Thanks!

We have to show something which is joint, get some of them like a utility bill, health insurance etc. Not having a joint bank account is a major red flag. I might be wrong as well as interviewer might not even ask for it. Do you have photos as to where you have gone to some trips/vacation together?

    Hi All,

Working on getting the documents ready for our interview for permanent residence next Thurs.

This is what I have so far (below). Am I missing anything? Do I need to provide much evidence of relationship prior to his arrival in the US, i.e. the evidence that was in the I-129f application? I am providing some pictures of our relationship from beginning to date.

    Thanks for any feedback!

    Documents taking to interview:

    -I-485 application replica

    -I-485 NOA2 (original and copy)

-Both passports (beneficiary and petitioner) and copies of bio page of both passports

    -Copy of K-1 visa

    -I-94

-Originals and copies of both our birth certificates

    -Certified copy marriage certificate

    -NOA1 EAD (don't think I need this)

-NOA1 Advanced Parole (again, don't think I need this)

    Evidence of a relationship

-Health insurance (he is on my plan)

-Credit cards ( he is an authorized user)

    -Phone plan with 2 lines

-Photos (focused heavily on time since his arrival -our wedding, photos at holidays with family and friends,  a few pictures of our relationship prior to his arrival)

Do you have a joint bank statement, lot of them were asked about it during the interview.
