different consulates have different standards. I would email the consulate to ask for clarification BUT better to have the originals when you don't need them as opposed to receiving an RFE because they're unhappy with your documents.

I emailed Abu Dhabi and asked if specifically a wet signature or copy is ok. They said a copy was ok.

The instructions are specific that you need originals. So yes, I would mail them physically.

The mail sent shows the evidence of support should be original not photocopied. So I'm assuming he should send the documents through post ? Is that right ?
