Hi we had our k1 interview on May 25th at the Auckland NZ consulate and they told us we were approved. Our CEAC status changed to "application received" on june 3rd. Nothing since. It has been about 3 weeks they wont answer our emails either. Our lawyer said we should stop reaching out because it might make things worse.

Is there reason to be concerned ? I haven't seen anyone who was approved take longer than 3 weeks.

Hi our case was sent to Auckland april 27th. they were quick to reach out to us but now its been 3 weeks since our approved interview and they have just left us hanging in the dark. usually more efficient for most people.they were until they werent.

mine was sent to auckland consulate on april 27th 2021 not sure if that helps you at all

I just need to know if anyone else is on the same boat with me. I did the interview on May 20th and since then no update on the online status it's still saying "Ready".

 

At the time of the interview I was told I was approved and will receive the visa in the mail but since then didn't hear anything. How long should I wait for? Online says 7-10 business days. It's been more than that.

Should I worry about it? Just because not a single update online

If you did your interview at this US embassy please share you timeline.

same!!! my fiancé had their interview over two weeks ago and still nothing at all. they told him it was approved and they took his passport. we’ve tried reaching out and nothing :( (k1 visa auckland new zealand consulate)

The timelines are different at every embassy. I too noticed that some people received their passport back within a few days. My fiancé just got his today and his interview was May 18. I wouldn't worry. I know that "Application Received" status is normal before it changes to "Issued".

My fiance has his interview on May 25th 2021 in New Zealand. He said it went well and it was approved and that he would receive his passport back within 2 weeks but it has been 15 days and the CEAC status only says "Application received" for over a week. No update at all. When I check other people's timelines they received their visa within days but ours has not been touched. I try contacting the consulate but no answer. Is this normal? I am starting to get really bad anxiety over this. Any experience with this?
