Should I print the evidences that I uploaded online to my N400 application and take them to the interview? Or only the new evidence plus the original marriage certificate and original proof of citizen of spouse?
Thanks.
I took the originals and followed exactly what the letter said. However the official did ask me for any sort of proof I had of my marriage (since I did it based on 3 year marriage to a US citizen). She literally said it "since it is based on 3 year marriage may I have any supporting docs". I thankfully had the joint bank statement for 2021- that was all I took with me, she was fine with that. Ive read in this thread no additional docs are requested, I on the other hand had that "luck" and got asked for more.

Congratulations!
Most states are not allowing family members except if the person is bringing an interpreter. When I went for my Oath Ceremony (Texas), they didn't allow any of the applicants to bring in any guests.
Which state are you?
Thanks! NYC

Received my oath ceremony letter. It is on June 16. Anyone knows if I can bring guests? Letter does not specify that information.

Thank you again. You will be fine. The officer I got was kinda tooo fast. I know English and understand it veryyy well but oh my God i had to ask her about two times to repeat a question. I think they try to make it tricky. Ny advice is dont get nervous as long as you study you will be fine. Keep us posted on June 09.

Hii!!! Thanks. Aside from that no, except she mentioned since I filed through 3 year marriage if i had any bank statements, anything with me to prove we were still married. I only had our joint 2021 tax return and it seemed that was enough.
My interview was at 745 am she called me at that time. On the dot. It lasted abt 30 mins. Because she took a while making copies of my docs.

First of all - Congratulations on passing your interview!
The possible reason behind you not getting "an approval" decision right away, would be because there is someone above your interviewer who would ultimately review the process before final approval.
So, what's next?
Your interviewer is going to recommend your application for approval and submit it for quality review (You won't know this)
Once approved, you'll be placed in line for "Oath Ceremony" and later receive your Oath Ceremony date.
All of these events can happen within the next 72 hrs. or more.
Just keep your fingers crossed and expect only the best.
Thanks!!!! Within 5 mins it was updated that my Oath ceremony was going to be scheduled. Then I just checked and it says it was mailed. Yayyyy!!!!!

Is my husbands USA passport enough to prove his citizenship? Or do I need to take his birth certificate
-
My interview is tomorrow!!! Do i take copies of my marriage cerrificate and my husbands passport? Or do they want the originals? If i provide original, do I get them back? I was reading a thread the officer kept the original docs.
-
Hi Everyone! I have my test next week. Any additional docs I need to take? Like the tax returns anything? My letter only says marriage certificate, my greencard and proof of citizenship of my husband. I just want to make sure I dont miss anything.

There are three sections of the Civics Naturalization Test.
a. American Government
b. American History
c. Integrated Civics (Geography, Symbols, Holidays)
There are many questions with their definitions that cover all the three areas.
E.g.
What is an amendment? A change or addition to a constitution
What does the constitution do? -
What is freedom of religion?
What is rule of law?
You will be asked 10 questions and required to get at least 6 correctly. You just need to understand what they all mean because the questions will be randomly selected. But the good thing is that the definitions are easy and short, so you wont have to memorize too many things.
If you have a android phone, go to the Google Play Store and download this app " Practice Civics Test" it will help you a great deal. Use to learn and also test yourself.
I wish you good luck in your interview.
Ahh. Thanks. Im here thinking they will ask me to define certain words i never heard of in my life lol.
-
Can anyone please tell me what definitions do people refer to when they say it is good to know definitions? Definitions of what words? In regards to the test

Our officer wanted to see Birth, Marriage Certificates. We brought originals of everything we submitted and a few extra to show that we still live together. (Joint Bank Statements and Bills)
Hi Bob. Do I need to take my original copies? Like the marriage certificate not a copy... etc?

Your interview notice will list the exact documents you’ll be required to bring.
In my case it was only our marriage certificate and my husband’s birth certificate.
Thanks. It was updated on March 24 that my interview was scheduled. Do you know how long after it is the actual interview?
-
Thank you so much
