I called the NVC Today regarding similar problem

they told me letter of employment or last few pay stubs either one will work

they need it just to verify you are currently employed, that is all what they need

the embassy is gonna tell you when and where to go after the NVC finishes and sends paperwork to embassy

If you got approved on 3/17 you gonna need to send the I-864 after 4/15 ( i am gueesing end of april or beginnning of May)

so I guess you have to send 2007 tax return.

Since you have to file your tax return with IRS until 4/15 it is gonna be your most recent year

it would be different when they request the I-864 from you before 4/15 which is not gonna happen( I wish it happens)

Also, the NVC website clearly says most recent return and also clearly says only 1 return not 3 years like you said

from what I am learning about process - yes you can, because those are two separate things

I-864 is for petitioner and the IV bill is covering DS-230 which is beneficiary's part of the process

the sooner you pay IV bill the sooner you get ds-230 generated

I am sorry, but we all want to make right first time , not loose any valuable time for RFE's

I am sorry, I read this 124 times, but when time came for filing the I-864 then I forgot everything

Question:

I file I-864( I know that)

Since I-864A is contract between me and joint sponsor ( my father) does he has to file also a I-864?

same thing is happening to me

they generate i-864 when they get $ 70 fee

and then they generate IV bill

or is the IV bill independent from $ 70 fee

he automated message system

told me that they received the fee and sent instructions for I-864

now I am confused

according to the post about automated messages it says if you receive the message:

"the nvc has received your ds-3032 and will send instructions in a few weeks" it means that you can send in I-864

accordng to them (I called them today) they did not receive the fee yet and will send instructions if they receive money

so who is right

I called them Today and they said they did not receive the money yet at least not any response from st. louis that they received money

they say it takes7- 10 days to receive the notification from st. louis

and they don't send any info about I-864 until they receive the money

I hope that is gonna be sooner then they say

if we use joint sponsor do we have to pay 2 times the $ 70 or just once

they probably deposit the money fast, but processing time to the next step is slow

that is my opinion

also, why pay express mail

if you send something on Monday the receiver gets it Tuesday or Wednesday in any part of USA with just a normal mail fee

When you look at the forms that we are using (ds-3032, Ds-230 , I-864 they only asking you simple question

You answer those questions to your layer anyway

He doesn't know those answers until you tell him

He only writes those answers in the form and takes money

And don't worry about scheduling an interview in Bosnia

It goes fast, once your spouse completes medical, they sometimes call them for interview even at earlier time, they are not so busy, it is a small country

At the end the CR1 way is cheaper then the the K3

Your husbands gets green card right away and SSN and permit to work

how long does it take to get the AOS bill in mail

in my first e-mail she included my address too

I got e-mail , but she did not get auto response

then we did it second time and then she got auto response right away and then she got another auto response 5 hours after

I sent today once and did not get any auto response

after reading this post I sent it again and got auto response

cashier check you can check from bank and see if it cash or not

money order you cannot track

justo FYI yo can track money order

there is a money order number and you call 800 number on the back of money order

and sure you can track it

I didn't send any evidence since I have nothing that they ask for in I-130 form

I guess nobody has anything that they request

I have another proof of bona fide marriage ready for interview ( phone bills with numbers and call times, 150 pictures of wedding etc)

My wife is completing of documnets that she needs to send to NVC

Since she was 16 year old she lived in 2 different cities in Bosnia according to NVC she needs 2 certificates

She went to present place's police station and they told her she can get police and court certificates only from the place where she was born

They said that in Bosnia all data go to one place ( place of birth)

I guess they are right

I also called Us Embassy in Sarajevo, Bosnia and they told me same thing

I am just afraid how will the NVC react, since they said they need certificate from any place that you lived in for more than 6 months

Anybody with same experience?
