Thank you for the kind offer! First time I came across with someone from PH here in Ireland ongoing with the same process :) If you don't mind me asking, I actually visited your timeline but I saw that you didn't have one yet.. How long did it take you before you received your NOA-2?

Hey! Just updated. I think I linked the timeline he started into my profile now too. Don't completely understand  how the website works tbh but its up now if you wanna look 😊 Basically took 7 months. Factoring in the pandemic its definitely dragged.

Great! Me too. 🇵🇭 But we just started our application.. still a long way to go.

Good for you you're on the medical stage already. I hope everything goes well.. and fast! Best of luck! :)

Salamat! Its has taken a loooong time to get here, pero malapit na. You'll get there too!

If you have any questions that I can possibly help with, don't hesitate to send me a message :) I received a lot of help with our application from friends who had to go through the process so I think it's time to pay it forward 🙂

    Hi!

I know someone who is also in Ireland and is on the process of getting vaccinations for her F2A process. She had no copy of her vaccination records so she had her vaccinations done in Dublin at Travel Health Clinic. I think Mater does vaccinations as well but the difference is the price, I just don’t know how much. The GP will then provide the record of the vaccinations.

Also, I am starting on the process of K1 visa and I have the same situation as you as I only have my passport extended and not renewed. I’m following your post in case you get answers about that.

Just wondering if you’re from the PH?

Yes from Pinas! I have emailed the Mater hospital for an appointment so I'll confirm as well what the policy is once they call me for a slot. I only have my Varicella and Hep record here (pre-employment) and have no way of getting to my other records.

Thanks for flagging the clinic! I'll research beforehand how much the vaccinations might cost.

  4. Good day all! I am seeking answers from kind-hearted souls who might have the time/experience to help me with my issues. My fiance and I have been confirmed as interview candidates by the US embassy Dublin after successfully filing the K1 visa through the NVC. We have started working on the additional documentary requirements for the process going forward but I have a couple of dilemmas on my side that I need advice on.

One being that I can't find/have no access to all my vaccination records. I am not an Irish citizen but rather an IRP holder. I wouldn't have vaccination records access from home either. Would that be a big issue with scheduling your Medical exam through the Mater private? Or do they offer vaccinations that are required for the immigration process?

Two is that my passport is only currently on an extension stamp from the consulate here. My trips home to sort that out have been cancelled several times due to the ongoing pandemic. Unfortunately, there is no passport renewal system here in Ireland. I have to travel outside the country. The extension is valid til next year. I am wondering if that will pose as an issue to the immigration officers during the interview? I have heard that people have been denied access into their ports of entry with extension stamps.

Thirdly, how did you go about scheduling your medical vs. interviews? I have read from an entry here in visa journey that it is advisable that the medical be scheduled first but on reading the requirements from the Mater pvt website, it states that you need:

Appointment letter from the United States Embassy

I'm sorry if these questions have been answered already. I will gladly follow any links to old posts anyone would kindly send my way.

Also, don't lose hope to those who are still waiting for their approval notices!! It will come. Just hang in there!

Well I submitted my notification of readiness in February after I got every single document, incliding medical in hand, sorted. They then got back to me a few days later with my interview date and gave me instructions to pay the fee and schedule courier delivery. Oh and from what I remember you don't schedule the interview, they automatically schedule it after you submit the notification of readiness.

From what you have told me, its not because you didn't pay the fee. Its probably because you submitted the notification of readiness so close to when they closed in March, which is why you didn't get an interview date and further instructions to pay the fee. I understand this is all so confusing and frustrating, but from what I'm reading you didn't do anything wrong! We just need to wait for the embassy to get back to us.

We just got the email last friday that our K1 packet was en route to Dublin and the CEAC status was in transit and it suddenly changed to READY just today. I am very confused as to which step I have to follow next. Am I supposed to receive an email or mail through post that the packet is in the embassy already and I can start the rest? What "the rest" is, I am confused with as well. What is this documentation of readiness? Do I get scheduled and interview date by the embassy or do I book it myself? If there's a thread highlighting the steps to follow/expectations for the K1 visa application I would really appreciate it if someone could point me to that direaction please.
