Interesting questions, would like to see what others think too, but here's what I'd do:

1. I think you would need more than one police certif, but call the NVC and ask, or the embassy even, I think it varies for each country.

2. Yeah, put None, I think it refers to other immigrants, not the petitioner.

Sorry to hear that.. The NVC seems to be more open to expedites though, so that's at least something. Well, it took about 5 months for my I-130 to get approved, so yours should be too any day now!

Well, from what I heard (and I am also not an expert), you need to live in your home country for 2 years after that visa. As long as you did that, you should be fine, you would think.

Ok, good. So, CR-1's pay the $70 and K3's don't. For CR-1 looks like nothing else will have to be paid at the embassy, that's good! Thanks to all who answered!

So, I was wondering, how much will we pay total (to get a CR1 visa) - $470? Not sure much about the K-3, do they pay the same? I think we won't need to pay anything else after all is paid with the NVC, but I might be wrong. Any opinions?

Hi all.. As I am sitting here, looking at my DS 230, I am starting to second guess myself. Please assist in figuring this out!

1. Would you just list the former visas held... or each and every time a person came to visit home and back (a few weeks vacation, etc)?

2. "A" number = alien registration #, right?

Also, I think I am going crazy. I kept reading the instructions.. do you just need one photocopy of your bio passport page and that's that - not of your family members' or anything if you're applying alone? I know, crazy question..

Thanks, guys! I read it as Diana too. I'd hate to get my translations now since I got everything almost ready to go and was hoping of sending it out.. I will call the NVC and ask, see what they say. I don't know, there's a cover letter that tells them what's what, so maybe no translation is really necessary.. Who knows!

I read a lot of posts on this and am confused - some ppl say - translate DS 230 supporting docs, but then it looks like you don't have to if they are in the language of the country where you apply for a visa. So, what's correct? Thanks!
