Hi all,

I have a quick question, do K1 applicants receive the yellow envelope that cant be opened ?

If so, when is it delivered to the applicant? My fiance went to the interview on June 1st, 2022  but is waiting for the Tuberculosis tests results and he wasn't given any envelope, they told him once they received the results they will send the passport to the DHL location chosen.

Please if anyone knows this info, share it with me.

I think you mean interview approval.  Congratulations!  Visa can't be approved until after the medical (including sputum culture test) has been cleared.  Hopefully it will turn out well.

VISA got approved today, but we need to wait 9 weeks for a tuberculosis test result done in Bogota

I got NOA 2 on 3/18

called every day to NVC until 4/6 that I got my case number .

so it was like 19 days

In my case I contacted them after case status was ready and I filled out DS 260, then they sent me p3 packet and said to notify them after I gathered the documents. I sent the notification via email and then they sent my interview date and informed me where to do the medical and that I must do it before the interview. It seems that steps are a bit  different in every country.

PS As far as I know covide vaccine is a must in order to pass the medical.

Don"t know why they changed the message. I think the steps are the same. Wait for change of ststus to Ready, fill DS 160, wait for email from the embassy for p3 instructions( or email them after two weeks) and when you have everything the embassy schedule the appointment. 

Go to those sites they listed, see if there is something different.
