    Hi there,

     I have a problem regarding my name in my Ethiopian passport, I have old documents like birth certificate written full name as mentioned in my old passport which is canceled now , after renewing my passport for some reason  my last name was not mentioned. What is the correct action to be done. Is getting an affidavit is enough or I should go and update my passport which may take long time?

      So I am a little confused here. The form you sent to USIS and every where is correct? But only just the passport is wrong?. If it was just the passport and you interview is not like with in 2 or 3 month . You better fix the passport.
