Hey, so my question is on the approval letter I recieved it has a valid date through Janurary 12,2020. Does that mean if them embassy in Haiti doesnt get him an interview before this date and visa approved before this date it will no longer be valid?

Whats next?
The petition will go to NVC from CSC and NVC will assign an embassy/consulate case number to it.  I would wait a few weeks after receiving NOA-2 and then contact NVC to see if they assigned a case # yet.  I would post also if they have it created in the September NOA-2 to NVC.  If it is not created yet, I can create it.
 
NVC to send letter?
I would just get the case # and then start talking to the Spain forum in the regional area.  Family is first and i think regional is almost the end.
 
As far as your letters during the process to Madrid, I would check above with the Spain forum or check the Spain us embassy/consulate Madrid website.  That is what I did with Ukraine because I didn't discover visa journey.  Oh also, Visa journey under the "guides" at the top you can find K1 and see the entire process to give you a better idea post NVC.
 
For now, just focus on giving a few weeks for the petition to arrive at NVC and then grab that case #.  Also, post on the September NOA-2 to NVC.  Like i said, if it is not created, I will create it with the necessary links.

Just found out today that the RFE was a misread of USCIS.  I provided the correct documentation and it was a final decree, but USCIS did not read far enough on it.  During my downtime this weekend, I am going to outline everything I need to and type out an explanation letter.  Then I will print out and send the decree again with the new information.  I misunderstood her and thought she for some odd reason picked up the decree before it was completed but yet it showed a future stamp.  Yeah I was confused and we talked about it and figured it out.

Received my RFE after 4 call attempts to USCIS.  First attempt was told to wait 15 days.  2nd, 3rd and 4th attempt was disconnected before the live person (note to anyone is say a few words when the recording of "please continue to hold" comes up so the computer registers you are there. NOt sure if this is completely valid but it gave me peace of mind that it wouldnt disconnect me.  I did it every time) and 5th I was told it was escalated to Tier 2.  Tier 2 called me an hour later (first call was at 6pm Central Time (CST) and Tier 2 call was at 7:45pm Central (CST)).  Tier 2 called again a little bit ago and emailed my RFE to me.  
RFE ends up being the divorce papers I submitted for my fiancee's divorce was not considered a certificate and they require this.  I am going to consult the Ukraine forum to make sure it is valid and already notified her of it so she could look into whatever she needs to.  But this is all they asked for!  awesome stuff for sure.  I will keep you all updated with the next steps.  
Lesson learned with not receiving information, be persistent in calling!!

@J&D1008 figured out about the every other week mailing from CSC to NVC.  I think someone posted above for it but that all depends on whether Haiti is accepting or not for how long NVC takes to process on their end.  I might be speaking in circles though because I am coming off the end of shift adrenaline. 

I was able to get USCIS to email me my RFE.  hooray!  I need to gather info on proof of meeting in last two years.  of course they want more proof than what I provided.  I didn't put dates on the back of the pictures for one thing.  They also want divorce decree which I sent but maybe they want the whole packet rather than the certified page?  and then some document from my beneficiary which will likely be a problem since getting info from their government offices is not very easy.  So it may take a little bit to gather and return all this.  I wish I had known about this site prior to sending all my paperwork in.  I might not have gotten the RFE!  
Everyone with an RFE, stay on top of it like Keith mentioned.  Calling can be effective if you get the right person!  Good luck everyone.

An update on waiting on the RFE:
Called USCIS today because I put in the missing notice e-request on Friday.  USCIS said it was too soon and nobody responded to my request yet.  This is technically 2 business days (Monday-Friday) since the e-request for missing documentation was submitted.  I assume they will "respond" in the next few days for it.  The person told me that normally when you put in the e-request, to give them 15 business days (so for me basically the 27th of September) or 3 weeks to respond somehow.  Banking on them emailing me the RFE so I know what is going on before I return to Houston on Saturday.  
My thing i wanted to stress, and I stressed in the previous post, was if anyone gets an RFE and the documentation does not arrive before "this date" then put in the e-request the day of that "havent received it by this date" so the process can start for you.  And then you can call within a week to see if you havent heard anything.
I will keep you all updated on the turn out of it and what the RFE ended up being (at least a general idea since I put in my petition previous to all the knowledge from this forum).  Best wishes to you all and for those in the path of all this southern fun, stay safe.  Well stay safe for everyone out there!  And by all means, stay positive!  We are all in this together!

Stay positive!  Probably just something they lost and need another copy of.  Or more meeting evidence.  Be sure to note if you dont receive anything in the mail by the date on your RFE notification, definitely put in the e-request asap around that date (i would do the date of) so it can be processed to send out by mail or email.  That is what I am experiencing right now because mine wasnt mailed out correctly and i never received it.  Takes it seems like 2-3 business days for them to see and respond to the inquiry of missing RFE.

Wow congratulations.  I'm still waiting for my RFE to get here.  Sent 8/24.  How long was the deadline for submitting the RFE response?  I'm worried my deadline will come and go before I even get the letter.  I did request a duplicate but haven't heard anything on that either.

Just an update...I called NVC for my case number. The rep said my case reached August 31 but they are working on August 25 cases which confirms my thoughts that USCIS sends cases to NVC every 2 weeks (Tues&Wed)  and i just missed the shipment that week i was approved - Aug 19. The rep said to call back in another week.  

Awesome!   This definitely helps with understanding the process.  It was always confusing between approval and when it was actually received by NVC.  

I'm really feeling the highest highs and the lowest lows with this process -- I went from having a complete breakdown a few days ago at the thought of our mistimed expedite request taking weeks longer to jumping for joy last night when we got our NOA2!! I'm so happy!! Thank you so much for your support, everyone. Every time I saw someone post "We got our NOA2! Don't lose hope, you'll get yours soon too!" I'd think, "yeah, right. You're just being positive because you already HAVE yours." Now I get it. It really does come so much sooner than you expect and it's such a weight off your chest. Praying everyone waiting gets yours ASAP.
