  1. Sorry to bring up this topic again. I just read the interview letter carefully and it said to bring the complete joint Federal and State tax returns. From what I recall, tax return transcripts were preferred, but since they listed Federal and State tax returns, I just want to confirm that tax return transcripts are still sufficient. I would hate to go back and make copies of all tax forms, schedules etc. Tax transcripts are more simple in my opinion.
  2. @TBoneTX Thanks so much for your advice. I greatly appreciate it. Regarding the photos, I am not sure if I understood this correctly. I should put them in a word format and then reprint like I did previously with I-751 submission instead of bringing the actual photo prints?
  3. My husband is scheduled for an interview this month. I have a couple of questions that I can hopefully get some answers for. In the letter they are requesting that we bring financial records such as joint bank accounts, tax returns etc and any other supporting documents. I am not sure if we should reprint everything from the beginning or focus only on the period after submitting I-751 petition. For tax returns, should we bring the actual tax forms with supporting documents or would tax transcripts alone be sufficient? Should we bring the actual photos or paper printouts? We already submitted lots of photos with I-751. Again, I am not sure if we should reprint them all or focus only on the last two years. We also have a toddler and we are debating whether or not we should take her with us for an interview. I apologize if this is not the right place for posting this, but since we are a November filers, I thought it would be ok. Thanks in advance.
  4. Congratulations! Did you do the N-400 as well or just the I-751?
  5. If it’s going to speed up the process, it’s worth of doing it. It’s been almost two years since we submitted his I-751. Is the citizenship test done at the time of interview (considering it goes smoothly)?
  6. Thank you. It doesn’t seem overly complicated. We might wait another year to file under the 5-year rule. Hopefully, his pending I-751 gets approved in a meantime.
  7. Thank you for always being so helpful in your responses. My husband is the one applying. He has been a resident for almost four years now. So basically, if applied based on 3-years rule, the marital evidence is needed but not when the 5 years of residency requirement is met, correct?
  8. Thanks a lot. That brings some ease on me thinking about the amount of work we had to put in to gather all the evidence for I-751.
  9. We are also November 2023 filers with I-751 still pending. Haven’t filed the N-400 yet, to be honest didn’t even realize that we could do it with I-751 still pending up until recently. I am not sure if it makes sense to apply for N-400 at this point. I would appreciate if someone could provide some insight on this; is it lengthy application process requiring amount of evidence like we had to do with I-751? Thanks in advance.
  10. Sorry, I am a bit confused about the 90 day rule. Applying for N-400 within the 90 days prior to you completing a continuous residence requirement is the earliest time eligible for application, but we can also apply anything later, correct?
