    Tough my itinerary was:

  3. Can you believe, Delta did not find my baggage though i had personal tags with my name and address and paper inside with all my details.. and i had only one stop in NYC-Kennedy.. They asked me to fill otu a lost baggage form and that's it for now.. i dunno what they gonna reimburse..

Do you think I should insist on an upgrade of my return flight or they never do things like that over lost baggae?

  4. I plan the trip with my baby from Ukraine to US- would like to have as smooth as it can be...

Is it only US that I have to re-check my luggage if I fly from Ukraine and have to make a connecting flight in USA?

Do I have to re-check my luggage if I have to change my flights in Europe using different airlines - Ukrainian International to KLM??

    Thank you...

  5. I flew back to Ukraine from USA a few days ago - US officials never asked for any paper with my husband's concent to take the baby out of the country. I stayed in US for a month, got my SSN, but no Green card yet.

    Natashenika,

    CONGRATS again!

  6. I need your urgent advice. I entered US on Immigrant visa, however my baby is American Citizen that was born in Ukraine (the country I come from). I am planning to go back to Ukraine with my baby but without my US hubby/

DO I need any kind of paper saying that he allows me to take the baby out of US?? Do they require papers like that in US?

I am asking because in Ukraine they rerquire the notary approved letter sayig that the othe parent allows to take a baby abroad/

  8. I breastfeed before he goes to bed and during all night as he sleeps with us and has an access to his boobie and early in the morning.. So what should I do first? What to be taken away first?

  9. Is not your American citizen child also a Ukrainian citizen as well?

Well, our American citizen child has a ukrainian birth certificate too since he was born in Ukraine.. as for his Ukrainian citizenship - I am not sure as according to Ukrainian Law no one can have a dual citizenship.

  10. Thank FWAGUY!!!

I arrived to US a few days ago. The flight was a challenge for me having one-year -old son with me.. But we managed Ok..

We adjusted to the time change pretty well..

I have read somewhere that my hubby and I need to file some paper when we have our 2nd wedding anniversary. has anyone heard something like that??

How long does it take for a green card to arrive?

When should I apply for my SSN?

  11. I know I am too curious and I am not in US yet. But who knows what I should do or happens next after I arrive to US on immigrant visa?

Do I have to go through adjustment of status. Or I just wait 3 years and we apply for naturalization?

Can anybody tell me briefly. I will read all the instuctions and detailed guides later on..
