We’re 270 days in as of today. Progress at the USCIS is slowing it seems with the 5-7 months timeframe being laughable at this point. I’ve stopped looking at the USCIS site. September 2019 was the last time I physically saw her. And with the PH government’s open/close mentality, the borders could open when I leave LAX, but closed again before I arrive at NAIA. That’s even if miraculously the USA finds itself on the green list. Doubt that’ll happen. Sometimes I just want to scream and do about 20 mins on a punching bag. And then there’s the offloading issue about meeting in a 3rd country. Wonder if being married helps with that 🤔. Anyone know? Thanks for the link @Adventine. Much appreciated. Just checked the K1 for PH, USEM did 192 K1’s for Oct and 116 for Sept. Good news is they managed 5,667 b1/b2’s for the same time period. Can’t see how they’ll clear the K1 backlog at that pace.

@Adventine My fiancé and I traveled together to Phuket in Sept 2019. Do you think one trip prior outside of PH would ease the offloading odds? All supporting docs would be provided to IO.

I’m just learning all the quirks the Philippines has. Is it possible to simply bypass the CFO by going on a “vacation” with your spouse/fiancé to Thailand and then leaving for USA from there? I realize some Filipinas have had trouble simply leaving the PH by themselves even if it’s only to meet their fiancé in a third country….

What does your script say about petitions received prior to December 23rd? Do you have the option to search for outstanding petitions received in December?

Hey, thanks for your script. Our petition was signed for December 17th. Just called my bank and no attempt has been made in their system to debit my check card. I realize things aren’t always chronologically done, but should my concern level be rising? I checked my mail daily and no rejection letters as of yet.....

Ours was received and signed for December 17th. My card still hasn’t been charged as of the time I’m writing this. Is kinda frustrating to see some end of December and early January being processed. Does anyone know how the backdating thing will actually help speed up the NOA2 phase?

Dallas lockbox signed for our app on Dec 17th. Still waiting. Read a thread that says expect +\- 2 months with outliers taking 3 months
Any reason NOT to withdraw K1 and do CR-1 instead for Philippines??

Looking at the K1 numbers from Aug-Oct, and It’s a small sample size, but from Aug to Oct there is around a 213% increase in processing. If you account for the time it takes to send/email/call for interview notices plus the few extra days for the medicals, then Nov’s numbers should be far more than the 229 they did in Oct. At a 100% increase, It’s still far short of Sept 2019 which was 567. Even at 567, I’ve seen estimates of well over 7,500 backlog. And that was stats from June. Now could be 10,000+. They’d need to be knocking down 1000 a month to seriously cut into that stack. I’m sure the USEM is under pressure with the lawsuit and Biden’s immigration agenda. Probably why they inserted the new Charge de Affairs in Sept.
