As an October 28, I’m holding my horses. 223 days in...should be this week..I hope.

Has anyone here had their medical done?

I'm at the cusp of 20 Oct-21 Oct cases and noticed 21 Oct-22Oct cases around my WAC number were getting approved/RFE, and thought it would be my turn soon. Just got approved yesterday 8 June, with NOA1 dated 21 Oct!! It's been a long 230 days. BUT, also saw a line of 20 Oct cases still pending. Hang in there! 😉

I have not done medical checks yet, and understand that the visa interview appointment letter will have to be brought along to the medical appointment. The embassy should send the beneficiary a package and instructions after the case reaches the respective local embassy.

Have you checked the State Departmentry website to see the requirements?

     https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/australia.html

This information applies to anyone needing an Australian police certificate, not hust AustralIan citizens.  It states you need to select Code '33' and,, in bolded, underlined, capital letters, "DO NOT SELECT Code '35'" -- so, I think they mean it!

Many thanks! Had some trouble navigating against different sites, very helpful and informative :)

Here's the weekly round up: some good news finally - they've processed ~4x as many I-129F cases per day this week compared to last (last week's avg. was 11 cases per day)!

Also, I was made aware that October filers have receipt numbers through 27000, so I've added an additional 10,000 cases to the total range. Hopefully, everyone from our month is captured now!

Been following the September and October K1 threads for sometime now, and cannot thank you enough for doing this data retrieval every week! Mine's 105XX with date received 21 Oct. Hope they pick up the pace and everyone can have a peace of mind 🙂

  4. Hi everyone,

I'm a non-Australian national who had previously lived in Australia for a few years. As part of the K1 visa requirement "Police clearance obtained from all countries of residence of more than six months since the age of 16" would like to know if anyone has answers to this:

    1) Purpose of police check: Current threads for aussies indicate #33, does the same apply for non-Australians? (#33 Immigration/Citizenship - for supply to the Department of Immigration and Border Protection OR #35 Overseas Visa - Supply to a Country Other than Australia)

    2) Postage of police check: Noticed that no additional charges were indicated beyond the standard AUD42 even though mailing address is outside of Australia, does this fee include overseas postage?

    Thanks in advance!
