I dont think its a problem if you apply now... before applying just check out... how long is the certificate valid for because you will have to keep in mind when will your case will be completed so by that time your certificate should be valid.

Yes money talks... to get down the ladder and up the ladder... I had to pay to my nose..... at these times.... TIME is important for us... so we pay money ..because the jerks know we are going to foreign countries and they have a easy hand to manipulate us and make us cough money...... We dont do or say anything because we dont problems for our case and it be delayed ...... We have no other choice... unless the system changes of the Police ... or the Consulate makes the PCC optional.

Do you mean Police clearance certificates.... its PCC.... you can appply for those... dont even wait ..... and as of the medicals... you get enough time.... you can do medical after you get interview letter... Breach Candy Hospital is very easy to do .

I can imagine ... my wife made me get PCC 5 months ago.. because your never know with Government offices... and when it comes to India.. you are always gonna be at the receiveing end even if you have perfect paperwork. To get the PCC in ENGLISH... i had to pay 300 rs. bribe..... and 4 times i had to visit to and fro. I also had to pay fees to the Govt. Treasury for which i had to stand in a line which was long as when people get free foood. I was in line from 6 am..........

ONLY MONEY will work.... pay them as much as you can or get an influential person to intervene on Ritesh's behalf.

MAtt .. you can go to the socialsecurity.gov website... enter your city or zip code and you will get the SS office address and phone number... call them, they are busy all the time.. and yes for them we are just a number... and threy work tooo slow.. i tell you.... there are 4 windows and they keep just 2 open .. and take break after each application....

I had to wait for 1 month... then i personally applied and got SSN in 14 working days.

In my previous posts I had mentioned that people should submit certified copies or the so called notarised copies of the originals and send to the NVC...... but many people opposed my view.... Its best to keeep originals for the interview.. because NVC has lots of appplications.. and once we loose originals.. it can take months to get them back from the source or from NVC or they can be lost for ever,..... But many didnt agree with my view..... Its clearly states on the website.. people can send certified copies or notarised copies of the original..

Please Please take originals for the interview or submit to VFS... because VFS people dont know anything yet... and also there is a safety option with us so we show the CO offficer the orignals which are submitted at the time of interview.....

Alll births are to be registered in local municipality or city .... if i were in your place .. I WOULD get the birth registered there .. and get a certificate from them.... nursing home is a private office....
