Updates as of now:
Feb 16: Mailed I-751
Feb 20: Delivered
Feb 26: Text received
Feb 27: Check cashed-out
Feb 28: Status changed to Actively Reviewed
Feb 28: Biometrics reused, and extension forms are available online
Looks like I got assigned to Vermont Service Center. So far so good.
I am unlucky, I got assigned Texas Service Center which seems to have higher processing time 😕

Can someone confirm to me when it's allowed to apply for N400?
This is my understanding:
You may apply up to 90 days before your third anniversary of becoming a permanent resident (resident since date on GC) if you have been married continuously to same US citizen for 3+ years. Plus, you must have lived at least 3 months in the same USCIS district.

Yeah after this, we just need to chill and wait. I hope our progress are RFEs-free. May I know what's your service center ?
Seems I got Texas Service Center.

Nope, only the case was received message. I have a IOE receipt number like everyone else.
Hm, that's strange, I thought "actively reviewed" usually comes a few days later after received message.

My status still says: "Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Sent" and hasn't changed since February 9th. At this point I'm not surprised or worried.
You haven't gotten case is being actively reviewed? What 3 letters does your case number start with?

Good morning everyone,
I received an update this morning for “case being reviewed”.
i contacted the live chat via Emma and was given the online access code for my case.
All 3 documents (receipt notice, biometrics reuse and acceptance notice) were in the documents tab.
Now, the long wait begins.
All in all, it took 25 days from the date I mailed my packet to all notices received.
i actually mailed the packet on the 90th day (green card expiration date).
Yeah the long wait begins now. What service center and your case number starts with IOE? I think all case numbers now are with IOE.

Updates as of now :
16 Feb 2024 : Mailed I-751 by USPS
20 Feb 2024 : Delivered
22 Feb 2024 : Checked website uscis and it says received
23 Feb 2024 : Text Message
26 Feb 2024 : Money order cashed
27 Feb 2024 : Extension letter and reuse biometric letter available online (Nebraska services center)
27 Feb 2024 : Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS
Yeah same, today it changed to case is being actively reviewed with extension and biometric letter. From what I have read it is a standard update and people wait a long time after that.

Yes. It is
You can see it on the uscis website if you already know the processing center.
Have you see the notice already on the portal ?
ah ok, nope don't see the letter on the portal yet
-
Does the service center matter in terms of processing time?
-
Yeah it's good when case is received, fee processed, and you know there were no delivery/clerical errors up-front. Of course, now the long wait begins!

Hello, just wondering if you able to see the receipt documents on the portal yet? Mine only shows the documents for the proof but not the receipt yet.
Nope not yet, yeah I see one file with just the photos I sent and a payment form for my check.

May I know what time did you got the text ?
Actually didn't get text yet, saw the update in the portal around 5pm

Congrats to the next journey! That was fast. Hope I can receive the same thing soon
Thanks! Generally getting the receipt number electronically seems to happen very quickly.
-
Just checked the portal and I see a "case was received" message with my receipt number (starting with IOE). Packet was received on the 20th.
-
Packet was delivered today by Fedex and signed for.
-
My packet shows it's going to be delivered by FedEx on Monday, but Monday is a federal holiday. Will the delivery just be unsuccessful and tried again the next day?
-
Just sent the I-751 packet! fingers crossed there are no issues.

Here's another vote for including the tax transcript only. The transcript proves that you filed. A signed 1040 package does not. Plus, they prefer the transcripts!

Yes good point. I guess I won't include the 1040 package then.
Another thing: we have two credit cards together and mainly use those, I have another credit card though and used to use that more, but when we got the two credit cards together after my wife got SSN, I began using it less and less as these two have better rewards. Do I have to mention about that credit card at all? We did use that credit card for family purchases in the beginning, but wife wasn't an authorized user.

This is normal, everybody's names are cut on tax return transcripts. I had no issue with this.
Do not include one page of full return. Either include entire return + W2s or don't include full return at all.
Thank you for the advice!
-
another clarification: the mortgage statement is just statement confirming my wife and I opened the mortgage account.

The tax receipt I got from IRS doesn't have our full names it's cut off, so that's why included the full return, but yeah it's long indeed so maybe just include at least first page of the return? W2 included to show same address.
Brokerage statement because we opened it together but then I wasn't active with it (chose CD account instead).
There's no gas, water, or cable bill (it's included in our HOA). The electricity bill is only in my name and unfortunately I wasn't able to add my wife's name to the bill because of their system.
typo meant tax return transcript*

1. No need for full tax returns. Only submit tax return transcripts. The reason not to submit full - it will confuse them and it will also require submitting other docs. No need yo submit W2s.
2. Why item g is singular? Do you have more than one statement?
3. What about gas, water, electricity etc bills? Phone bill is good.
Overall good evidence, good luck!

Personally I wouldn't wait and just send everything out when your window opens. We're not quite decided on what to do with the 2023 return at this point, but might just upload it as unsolicited evidence once it has processed.
Oh that's right, so it's possible to upload unsolicited evidence after submitting? just to the USCIS portal?

I uploaded our latest joint tax filing Tax Transcript from IRS. Will upload any such key evidence docs that come up in the following months. Given the case is marked as electronic, it should be totally good to upload any key evidence as time goes by and you are waiting for case to be processed.
