I searched CSC timelimes from the UK and it seems as though approvals are only just moving into June as much of May has already had their NOA2's...

Should mean that I will get my NOA2 within the next month if I'm lucky.

I went in today and they gave me a form to fill out, but they said I will have to hand it into the main office downtown, which sucks.

Where is the best place online to order a police certificate relevant to a I-129F case in the UK?

Also, will having a police cert before the NOA2 get you a quicker interview date?

Having one won't speed things up but not having one could slow things down as you are not supposed to send back the checklist requesting an interview until you have one. A UK police certificate is valid for 1 year.

A Met police application will do KJC no good. He/she will need to apply to his local police force using their forms. He can either go to his local constabulary web page, or go into the station and ask for the correct form.

I just downloaded the above form, filled it in and was ready to post it tomorrow morning... Now I'm not sure if I should...

I guess I will just go to the police station to be on the safe side... Having a police report rejected by the people at the embassy would be a complete disaster

And just to make sure I'm doing it right, do I need to say anything about immigration where it asks if I need any information other than 'prosecution, convictions and caution history'? Or is ticking the box on prosecution (etc) history sufficient?

If I were you, I'd start by filling in my timeline and profile details. Yes, renew your passport but there's no hurry for that.

I just quit my job without even giving them any notice period. Will this effect my chances of having my 129-f approved? Do they check up your work history and ask previous employers about you?

By the way, I have a filing date of 25th June 2007 from CSC. I live in Scotland and will hopefully be moving to the states to live with my fiance soon.

Just worried about the fact I may not have any good work references...
