  1. Fishy website.

I'm not entering my details into that page... Especially a page which has an ad saying "PUSH THE FART BUTTON!"

Also when I was browsing this website, a window popped up and then instantly disappeared again. More spyware I guess.

Woops... Just realized I bumped this from page 3. Wouldn't have posted this message if I realized this.

  2. Where is the best place online to order a police certificate relevant to a I-129F case in the UK?

Also, will having a police cert before the NOA2 get you a quicker interview date?

The url for police certificates from the metropolitan police is http://www.met.police.uk/dataprotection/forms/3019b.pdf .

Having one won't speed things up but not having one could slow things down as you are not supposed to send back the checklist requesting an interview until you have one. A UK police certificate is valid for 1 year.

A Met police application will do KJC no good. He/she will need to apply to his local police force using their forms. He can either go to his local constabulary web page, or go into the station and ask for the correct form.

    Is this true?

I just downloaded the above form, filled it in and was ready to post it tomorrow morning... Now I'm not sure if I should...

I guess I will just go to the police station to be on the safe side... Having a police report rejected by the people at the embassy would be a complete disaster

  3. Thanks...

And just to make sure I'm doing it right, do I need to say anything about immigration where it asks if I need any information other than 'prosecution, convictions and caution history'? Or is ticking the box on prosecution (etc) history sufficient?

  4. I'd hate for them to tell me the case has been approved but then I have to wait several months on some other thing before I can finally fly out to the states.

How long does the police report take?

Do I need to visit the doctor to get a list of vaccinations I've had?

My UK passport expires September 2008... Do I need to renew it before I leave for the states (incase they want to kick me out)?

Or does none of that matter right now and I can just relax until I hear anything from them?

If I were you, I'd start by filling in my timeline and profile details. Yes, renew your passport but there's no hurry for that.

I don't know how to do that. I don't even understand all the abbreviations and stuff that I am reading on other peoples time lines :D

  6. I just quit my job without even giving them any notice period. Will this effect my chances of having my 129-f approved? Do they check up your work history and ask previous employers about you?

By the way, I have a filing date of 25th June 2007 from CSC. I live in Scotland and will hopefully be moving to the states to live with my fiance soon.

Just worried about the fact I may not have any good work references...
