Hopefully things will move faster after the influx of July filers prior to the fee increase.

None of them really do anything other than be a puppet for the people that back them, usually the lobbyist.

You should get your NO1A soon. Good luck and welcome to the waiting room.

Good luck to you.

Congratulations.

If this is something you know you are going to do for sure, then I would file as soon as possible because the waiting sucks. I waited about 2 months before I sent in papers and now regret it because we could almost be done by now if I had.

If you go to the Philippines subforums and ask how long it takes, you might have a better idea. From looking at the Philippines timelines, it is anywhere from a couple days to 2 weeks. I belive if you request to pick up in person, it may be a little faster. Maybe best if you leave close to interview day and go to interview and explain situation. May or may not speed up process if your there. I plan on doing the same thing. Good luck.

Congratulations, wonderful news

Hope for good things for everyone in 2008 and good luck to all having interviews soon.

I use Philippines Air because there is a direct flight to Manila from San Fransciso. China Airlines had descent prices but I had a 4 hour layover in Taipei. Do your homework on the internet and you will get the best price. Anything over 1,000 round trip is probably too much.

Congratualtions. Good job hanging in there.

Congratulations. Wonderful to hear good news.

Just be sure to double check every box on every page and sign before you send out. Good luck to you.

We used the Acco fasters and put post it notes on the bottom, so whoever is reading can find everything easy.

Welcome to the waiting room and good luck. VSC seems to be much faster than CSC right now. I wish my case was at VSC, just to speed up the process.

You should look at the I-134 and do exactly what it says for the bank.
http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-134.pdf
Statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institutions where you have deposits, identifying the following details regarding your account:
1. Date account opened;
2. Total amount deposited for the past year;
3. Present balance.
I'm not sure who would do this at the bank. Let us know what they say about it or if it was no big deal.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I suppose it is better to find out now, rather than later.
