    mmmm, pienso que nunca me ha chocado nada ero lo q si no me gusta de los estados en que he estado es que a partir de las 10-11 no hay ni un solo taxi!!! Bueno en manhattan es distinto pero eso es lo que me molesta! Jajajaaja! Por eso me encanta Lima, camino 5 cuadras hacia la avenida y encuentro un taxi a la hora que sea! :D

    Makes no difference if you get a one way or round trip in entering the U.S. on a K-1.

    Usually a roundtrip is less expensive than a one way...... and most people like us went with the round trip ticket.

    But if you're finding the price the same it's entirely up to you which one you take.

    What airline is offering same pricing for the rountrip or oneway from Lima................ ??

    I checked on Lan and it is the same price and around 1000 bucks...Then I looked on spirit airlnes and it came up to almost 500 but remember that doesn't include your luggages....they charge per pound but I don't remember how much...

    Martin, actually you don't schedule the appointment. NVC or the embassy does it. I called the embassy this monday and found out that my interview is scheduled for February 5. I just got today the packet 3 & 4.

    I also have a question....In this packet I found an affidavit of support....I already have one...do I need to do it again????

    I really can help you with this. I use my Chase debit card (from US) here in Peru and they charge me a 3 dollar fee. You can only take 200 bucks at once. If you take out money in soles, they charge you 3 bucks + a couple cents or dollars for changing the currency. I don't recommend you to take soles cause it's a pain.

    ALL ATM's CHARGE 3 DOLLARS but there is this one from INTERBANK called GLOBAL NET, they accept all credit cards but charge 3 BUCK + 2 BUCKS MORE WHICH IS A FEE FROM THAT BACK. Don't go there, go to any other and they will only charge you 3. Most of them take Visa and Mastercard.

    You can take pills before getting there or if you begin to feel sick. The name of a good pill is Gravol. You can get it at any drugstores here. Make sure you don't eat any sweets or sodas!!! Buy some mate de coca (they come in tea bags and leaves) and it will help a lot. You can put it on a coffee container and keep it warm!!! With no sugar!!!

    You might feel bad the first day, that's why you have to rest the first night and eat something light.

    Like MandR said, NO ALCOHOL!!! You don't wanna do that, believe me.

    I went to Huancayo once by train and I was drinking on the way there when the train stopped at the highest point there, 15.681 feet, I went out running from the train, jumping, taking pictures, went back inside and couldn't drink anymore. I fell asleep and woke up a couple hours later with a severe headache! When we got to Huancayo, I couldn't eat anything and went straight to bed! The next day I was fine again!!! :D

    So no!! DON'T DRINK!!! Hahaha!

    I got it! The stupid machine wasn't working. In two different call I got two different messages! :wacko:

    I had to download the form and fax it because the automated system was not working. It sounds like you solved the problem but if you need the form you can download it here. Click on IRS Form 4506T (Request for Transcript of Tax Return) to get the form from the website.

    Yes, the stupid system wasn't working but we finally solved it. Thanks Bill :D
