No, you do not need to include passport sized photo in your file if you are living in the US and applying for the removal of the conditions. However, “Those who reside overseas pursuant to military or government orders, including conditional resident dependents residing overseas and listed under Part 5. Information About Your Children of the petition, must submit the following items with Form I-751:
    1. Two passport-style “

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for your reply and for clarifying.

Hello everyone! I couldn’t file during October bc we didn’t have the money. So I’m filing right now, but November thread is not very active and one other member and I, we have some questions.

Thank you ind advance for the help!

    1. Do we need to mail photo passports if we are in the US? If so, all the applicants? In my case, my husband is the American and I’m applying with my minor son, so the 3 of us need to send photos?

    2. The filling form (I-751) link provided by Chellleyandaaron back in September, the one that started this thread is still the one?

    3. I’m in Texas, but do I need to send the package to Phoenix? Word around is that everything has to go to Phoenix now.

    thank you everyone!

Hi Marla, not sure if you have sent your application,

    1) I attached 2 passport sized photos, my lawyer asked me as well. It says in the website it says you may have to submit with your form

    https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-guidance

    2)https://www.uscis.gov/forms/all-forms

    If you will file I-751 - use the 12/02/19 - https://www.uscis.gov/i-751

    3. Follow the Phoenix Arizona because that is what is online - pls check very well what kind of form you are submitting though.

    Good luck!

Actually in official I-751 instructions it says Originals. Document is here: https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-751instr.pdf

"Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by at least two people who have known both of you since your conditional residence was granted and have personal knowledge of your marriage and relationship. (Such persons may be required to testify before an immigration officer as to the information contained in the affidavit.) The original affidavit must be submitted and also contain the following information regarding the person making the affidavit: his or her full name and address; date and place of birth; relationship to you or your spouse, if any; and full information and complete details explaining how the person acquired his or her knowledge. Affidavits must be supported by other types of evidence listed above."

Thanks a lot! Appreciatr your reply.

That's how it supposed to work. Expired GC + extension letter.

I dunno if you're thinking that sworn affidavit is a requirement for entering the US but it's not. Example of sworn affidavit i posted above is for I-75. Just want to make it clear that it wasn't for US re -entry requirements 😊

    Yes for I-751 too. Thanks

Hi again! The affidavit from friends, do we submit the original?

I would chose UPS and made sure it has tracking number to track your package.

AZ is the right one. Your lawyer didn't read the new I-751 instructions i think.

It's always better to do your own paperworks unless it's not an easy case then get a good lawyer.

    Good luck!

Thank you for your reply, yes, i think it should really be in Arizona. I was just wondering maybe it would be  different if you got a lawyer and they have a contact in VT.

If UPS, just a regular mail or should it be priority? Thanks again!

Same boat here! I’m applying with my minor son (he is 14) and our green cards will expire on January the 16th!! So I’m panicking! But we couldn’t file earlier due to $$. And before this, we had a lawyer that helped us (we can’t aforos it anymore). So I don’t know how to do anything and I’m trying to learn, while panicking and rushing!!!!

Goodluck, start with the checklist and do it one at a time. You got this. I’m submitting mine this week too.
