    Hi,
My husband has this status "Case is ready to be scheduled" from last month on his I-751 application. The extension letter for 18 months that he got is expiring next week. He has to travel to meet his parents soon. Please help what can be done to expedite the interview, or at least have something so that he can travel and come back safely.

What is the number to call to get an appointment for stamp? Please help.

My status has been like that for 8 months. You can’t expedite it. Call 8003755283

Congratulations ElGuapo88! I had an Infopass appointment yesterday in Chicago, and got an i551 stamp that's value for six more months (until November 2021). Hopefully that means they expect I'll have my 10 year green card by then! My case status is still "ready to be scheduled for an interview".

Just a heads up to anyone booking an Infopass appointment, be prepared that you might have a bit of a wait if you're at a busy office. The soonest I could get an appointment after I called was about three weeks.

How long has it been on “ready to schedule” ?

Our case is ready to be interviewed. Has anyone else been selected for interview? Most of the people I see here got an approval without the need for an interview. Any specific reason why we might have been selected and if anyone has given an interview already any advice and tips would be appreciated !

Been ready to schedule for 4 months now. we were already interviewed in the US for AOS but yet here we are again. AND we have a child together. Really thought I would go straight to approval.

Hello, congrates on those who have received their greencards!

I filed my I751 from San Jose, California and received the I797 notice on Feb 27, 2020.

Also received notice around May saying biometrics is not needed.

On Dec 16, 2020, I received notice saying they transferred my case to National Benefits Center in MO. I haven't heard anything since.

Does anyone know what's the potential reason they will transfer your case? Does that usually means the case will be delayed?

I have a similar timeline and after transfer I got a notification that case is ready to be scheduled for interview. But Sometimes nbc approves you even without an interview. It is a progress either way better than just having nothing.

Some ROC goes through interview stages. Have you ever been interviewed within the country recently? Some people get bye after the adjustment interview while some still go through multiple stages of interview. I guess with USCIS no one really knows their parameters for decisions they make.

    Good luck with your interview......

I was interviewed 2 yrs ago for my AOS in Chicago but I agree, no one really knows with uscis 😐
