So, our DQ had a twist to it.  A twist caused by the incompetence of NVC reviewers:

On 22-Feb-2022, NVC started reviewing our docs, and for some reason, they only reviewed the Civil Documents and accepted them:

I called NVC next day (after a long wait) to check and they told me the case is undergoing Administrative Processing (official answer). The rep also told me to watch my email because it should be reviewed shortly.

On 24-Feb-2022 at 7 am, I called NVC and they give me the same story. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they transferred me pretty quickly. The supervisor told me the same story but added that it might have been a shift end thing and they just didn't get to it. She also said that she will send them an email in case they forgot about our case. I really got pissed when she said "in case they forgot".

The same day, 24-Feb-2022 at 5:39 pm, the case was DQ:

Hi, can you share how you reach to NVC? Through the phone they provided? My husband has been trying to reach them for a week but always on hold..

Ask NVC if you can bring the one they asked for to the interview, rather than re-submitting

I know this was an option few years ago, but things might have changed

but you lose nothing by asking

Thank you for the suggestion! Will raise about this too to my attorney. My attorney said our documents are accurate even they can't understand why 😅 Do you know if it will restart back the 3 mos clock if asking to bring docs to interview?

Hang in there. So sorry for the RfE but at least you need just one document to 'fix-resubmit'. What was the problem with the police certificate... ?

Thank you! Just a lengthy process for me, almost 2 years now with USCIS and will have to wait another half year. I lived in Malaysia before and to get police certificate we need to apply everything online through system and ask Malaysian Embassy to print it. Since I am far from capital city, we asked Malaysian Embassy in DC to print it since my husband can get there easy. Have anyone of you heard about appealing a document that is actually already correct?

    Hey everyone,

Hope you all had a great (if not bearable) Christmas. Has anybody else heard back from their application? I haven't heard a single peep for ours. I wonder whether the situation will improve after Biden steps onboard from 21st Jan onwards....

    Hello to you too!

I have not heard anything at all.. I have given up hope for this year.

I would say Biden's effect might take a while to happen and with less people working on our petitions during this pandemic, nothing will change much. But I am trying to be hopeful for January! :D

I am happy to say that our I-130's got approved!   I submitted the requested documents yesterday morning.  And it looks like yesterday they also approved all 3 cases! Same day service!!   On to the NVC.....

I hope all of you other April 2020 filers get good news soon as well!

Wow congratulations! That's really fast! I haven't heard any update about mine. What stage are you in now? Did you get your interview schedule?
