Woohoo! We’re so close! In the email confirmation it says:
You must print this instruction page and bring it with you to your consular interview, along with the letter or email you received from the Consular Section.
Have you received any other email? I I’ve got only appointments confirmation email which already includes my courier details and the appointment.
i may of made it up - but I thought you should also get a checklist email? Is that a thing?
good luck to anyone waiting for interview dates! Hopefully you will hear something in the upcoming days!
No other email for me, I do have the DCF letter, but I guess you won't have that. Maybe your original correspondence before you expedited? Or do you have anything from the expedite?
If you print everything you've been given I don't think you can go far wrong

For anyone wondering when you could be able to reschedule or book an interview appointment, this is what I got from the London embassy this morning. Even if it’s not too great news for me, I guess this is a good indication too that they do stay open.
Thank you for your email. We have exceeded our quota of appointments for the month of November. As a result no appointments are available for the rest of the month. As previously advised, you may wish to check the calendar periodically for cancellations.Alternatively, please check the calendar in December as new appointments will be released then.Shame, good info thanks
I would say cancellations do pop up, I saw one for 10th November 6:30am yesterday morning, too close to medical for me to book but they do come up

There used to be some predictability— end of month Oct would open Dec. Since the reopening of the embassy for spouse processing, it is a big guess. On Oct 20, the calendar opened half of November. Nothing since.
Make a timeline. Choose your embassy. And “Applied for” Should be IR1/CR1 (DCF). It helps answer your questions because your DCF is different than the other spouse visas in this thread.
Thank you, I'll update my timeline now

That is correct. Her intent evidence is way more than sufficient. The London DCFs have had a thread going in the DCF section forum since early 2020. Most have interviewed now and report they were not asked anything about domicile or intent. Zero.
Also another thread to follow about calendar openings is this https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/750883-london-ir1cr1-expedites/
The expedites are waiting on calendar. The other spouse visas are not.
Thank you very much for your response. Put my mind at ease and far less stressful sending wife over first during these times

I called visa medical this morning and they run with no changes. even the lockdown doesn't affect them.
Me too, was just about to tell you the same thing.
Now hopefully my train gets me there

Firstly, I’m assuming our medical is still happening!
Secondly, knowninfbg what’s happening right now, I wish I had booked app before medical 🥺and yeah, I cant see any slots right now at all. I’m hoping they will release December dates soon.
Would you please let me know when you see released appointments?
I believe so, I'm going to call them tomorrow to check. Problem is I'm coming from Newcastle for medical so I'm also relying on trains not messing up either
Sure will do!
I was wondering if anyone had any insight on when/how they release interview dates. Is it just cancellations that end up showing up or do they do 1 month blocks at a time etc.

Hey, I've saw this a few times on the forum and wanted to double check against you all so I can stop worrying and googling to no end.
My wife has resided in the UK with me since November 2019 using the spousal visa. Long story short we decided we wanted to start our life in US. We soon have our house deposit sorted and want to start trying for a baby and led to us to deciding the US was the place to do that, especially since my work are flexible with where I work. Luckily we applied through direct consular filing before they removed the service. I have my medical next week and waiting for interview slots to open up.
Originally she was going to fly back before my interview and start setting up, applying for jobs, arranging a car etc. But with all this lockdown and travel restrictions going on we've decided it's best she stay in UK till we have visa and don't get separated for too long.
So after frantically googling and searching through this forum I saw 2 things;
1. The UK doesn't focus much on domicile, if at all
2. Intent to domicile is also fine.
So for intent to domicile we have the following evidence;
1. Maintained her US drivers license
2. Opened her a US bank account with some cheques deposited up to around $4k
3. Email chain with NH state where shes requesting overseas voting ballot
4. Up to date on tax returns
5. Email correspondence with petair to get our dog over
6. Confirmation of closing her UK bank account
7. Book our flights for January with insurance incase they need to be cancelled. Both flying out together
8. Correspondence with landlord explaining situation and that we expect to be vacating in January but will contact in December as per our agreement if we need to extend further
Do you guys see anything missing or to be improved? Her uncle is our joint sponsor if any are wondering
Thanks!

Of course, will do!
I've register to interview booking website, however there has been only like 4 dates for this week (
27,28) and first week of November (2,3,4). But either of them is good for me. - I've got medical on Nov 4. So hoping they will release more dates soon, if not - hopefully I will hear something from embassy.Looks like we are on exact same timeline, my medical is 4th too. It was weird, after I completed my ds260 (we doing direct consular filing) and logged in to check appointment times there were dates all way up to 16th November, but I chose not to book since I wanted to get medical out the way and do interview end of November. Now they haven't released any dates at all, so I can only assume they chose not to release dates expecting big lock down.
