    I spoke with Ask Emma today regarding my husbands case. Informed me that the case is at the local field office and that the interview is marked as waived. Is this info usually accurate? So far no update in our online account. I'm assuming it will change soon. For those who chatted with Emma and were told the same thing, how long did it take before you received an update on your status?

    When did you file originally ? We are 11/28/2021 Did they notify you via text or email ? Or did the approval letter just show up?

    My husband's I-131 was approved yesterday. Hope to see some movement on the I-485 here soon.🤞

    Have you received any notices on yours? My husband is still waiting, I contacted "Ask Emma" yesterday to see if any updates could be provided, but the live agent said there is no time frame.

    Hey everyone, is there any movement for anyone regarding the i-485? Is there anyone else here in Virginia using the Norfolk office? For those who got their interview waived, did you say specific wording to the live chat or did you just check one day and your case was updated?

    I see starting on July 10th, Morocco will be starting e-visas for 49 countries. My question is about my passport. I got married last year but have not changed my passport to my married name since I had 4 years left before it expires. Since they will now require a e visa for entry to Morocco, is it necessary to update my passport now or am I still ok to wait for it to expire? I was wondering if it would cause any issues getting a e visa since I don’t know what information is asked for when applying for a e-visa. My married name is updated on my social and everything else like driver’s license.
