Thanks Kim...........Now that you have filed my hope is that your journey is so much quicker.....but it is kind of like childbirth....You forget the pain....and only focus on the this new life Oscar and I have.........It is hard for him though.......No work......No children in the home before......I still have 2 here....but he is making friends in the neighborhood.....and we hope soon to have his papers for work......His english is improving.....He now is starting to think in english all the time.......He even had a dream in english.....I speak no spanish to him.....so he hears fast english only......and he is getting better everyday......and he is a great cook.....How lucky I am......I love Peruvian food so I will have to be careful not to eat too much of it......Well good luck too everyone......It is true the whole journey is very very very much worth the wait and pain.........Lora

Congratulations to you both!!! Darren has been here 3 months and , weirdly, it is hard to tap into what it felt like waiting. It seems so long ago even though it wasn't.

Waiting for the work authorization has been hard cause he is anxious to start work. It has been 3 weeks and not even a receipt. Here we go again.... At least he is here while he waits though!!!!

Well when I first started coming here last year it was taking a good 6-8 months for NOA2's...and those were the lucky ones! Now i'm seeing tons of people from VSC getting them in under a month which gives us MUCH hope since we can't even file until April. Yet, there are still those of you waiting all these months. I don't get it. No rhyme or reason it seems. I understand your averages based on the timelines here but there certainly seems to be very little consistency.

I am one of those fast NOA2's...and I completely agree about the processing times...I am happy about it, of course, but it doesn't seem fair that some people have been waiting 10 times as long for the same thing...

USCIS, GET IT TOGETHER!!! GIVE THESE PEOPLE WHAT THEY NEED!!!

Hey guys my visa is also approved without an interview

The officer just made me sign the DS 156, took my finger prints and ask me to swear, not a single question about how Mel and i met or about my daughter. I was very suprised and i asked him weather he does not want to see the DS 230 part II and he said that they do not need it for the K-Visa How ever i had a 2 minutes "interview" i spent 45 min at the consulat including security check, standing in line and everything.

I still haven't gotten a interview date!!! I can't believe being this close and they still find a way to drag it out. I am starting to stress about it. Why so long?? They processed and approved the packet 3 so all should be ok.

Maybe give them a call, to see what's going on? It can't hurt, maybe?

I call NVC every day for an update. They keep telling me the embassy hasn't scheduled the interview date yet. You can't call the embassy directly.

It could also be that they've mailed you the NOA2!!!!! And at the same time, sent to NVC :D Awesome!!!!!

Can anyone tell me the average time the Embassy in London gets back to you with a interview date? This is ridiculous!!!

well I just got a call from the Congressman's office....she said "VSC knows it has really muffed up this case....that they really did not need the 325 it was a mistake"...........I now feel sick....... ....now she is telling me that they will move it along faster.........so being the smart a** I am I said....what is there version of fast because I have had 8 months of there processing within there service time??? She said if I heard nothing by next Friday call her back.............

I know it is hard to trust any of these people at this point, but that sounds like pretty good news to me. I hope they do put it on the fast track!!! Hang in there!

I was told the same thing....I tried to call that number and it did not work either....I can't remember what I did, but I kept trying

different menu's and I finally got hold of a person who helped me get to someone to fill out an expedite form....

she said that due to my history that I could file as USC error...which I did and she then she told me that I would hear in

5 business days....I did hear in 2 days and was turned downed saying that I did not "qualify" for an expedited form"

I do not what else to do at this point....you can see our timeline for explanation of our process...

Nothing else to do but wait....although I would love to call but I know that I would probably just wind up being more frustrated.

I hate these people. I called today to ask them to do an expedite and they told me I wasn't in an emergency situation, and nor was I miltary so, tough sh*t.
