Has someone received EAD without expediting?? Just wondering if we are getting closer.
PD July 16th
Bio Dec

Hi! I see a lot of people getting approved for EAD expediting their cases, I have 2 questions about this:
1. When you expedite your EAD it also helps to receive the Advance parole faster? assuming they approve combo card
2. Does anybody know what PD is being processed for EAD in NBC? (without expediting)
I'm a July filer , did biometrics already (december) and I have a possible job offer for February so I'm looking forward to receive my EAD within this month or the beginning of next one. The possible employer is not willing to provide an offer without my EAD being approved first.
Thanks

Hi everyone,
I went to my bio appointment today at Norridge Chicago, IL. I felt safe as the health protocol was very good, and the process was smooth.
However this app was only for I-765 And i-485 do you know if I should wait for another appointment or if the fingerprints are applied to all my cases?
(the agent there wasn't sure about it)
I filed back on July 16th.

1. Does USCIS update status after scheduling the biometrics?
2. Does USCIS update status after taking biometrics? If yes, in how many days?
1. No
2. Yes but not 100% of the cases

Hello,
I just wanted to share my timeline in case it helps someone.
Sent the AOS application packet - 6/15/2020
NOAs received - 6/26/2020
Biometrics appointment - 8/28/2020
Expedite request for EAD/AP - 9/14/2020
Email asking for proof of severe financial loss - 9/18/2020
Faxed my job offer letter + a proclamation signed by the President (related to my research) - 9/24/2020
Expedite request approved - 9/25/2020
EAD card mailed - 10/1/2020
EAD card received - 10/3/2020
Case is ready to be scheduled an interview - 10/19/2020
Interview is scheduled on 11/24/2020
New card is being produced - 11/24/2020
As for the EAD expedite request, I just put in a request over Emma based on severe financial loss. Most people with a pending job offer are approved for expedition of their EAD based on my experience. I hope this was helpful for some of you guys.
Thank you for sharing this.
I am planning to send an expedite request after my biometrics as I also have a job offer.
How did you do it? Or where did you send it?
I was going to contact an agent through Emma and explain my case but maybe you know a better way
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,
After biometrics I would like to request an expedite action for my EAD based on potential financial loss and showing a job offer as evidence. Has anyone done that before? How do you send it? or should I just chat to an agent through Emma to request de expedite.
Thanks for any help

Does anyone know if delayed Biometric appointment affect EAD/AP card approval time?
I heard they are processed separately (Biometric by ASC, EAD by National Benefits Center) so it's possible that you get an approval before a Biometric appointment? 😳
Hi, just like with everything else in this process there are multiple opinions and not a real answer.
I have heard of people receiving their cards with a stamp saying "no fingerprint available",
people having their forms approved and the card hold until they completed their fingerprint appointment
and people saying that it is require to have the biometrics first.
The thing that makes more sense to me is that they approve the forms and hold the card until you complete your biometrics but this is only my guess.

Hi everyone,
I'm in Chicago and still waiting for my biometrics since July 16th.
For those who are receiving the letter, did you just waited for it? Also if there is anyone else assigned to the Norridge ASC it would be great to know your PD and Bio date if already received
