Hi Everyone,
So let's start with the fact that my petition was filed a month before I was turning 21. (almost 2 years ago) Throughout the whole process I was advised that my category was going to be IR-2 and it was. My petition was USCIS approved and then I got DQed in May 2020. I had my interview scheduled for October 2020 at the London Embassy, I have gone through the medical examination and vaccinations which have been paid for and then a day before my interview the US Embassy in London called me and advised me not to come to the interview because I was affected by the Trump proclamations.
Recently I have logged into the NVC CEAC and realized that my Visa Category have changed from IR-2 to F11. I thought my age should freeze at the time of the application and I shouldn't age out.
Obviously I am worried on how long this process is going to take as this isn't IR-2 but F11.
I have already submitted the NVC Contact Form to advise that the category shouldn't been changed to F11.
This whole process created so much stress and loss of money considering my police certificates have expired as well as the medical examination.
Can you please help? Did you guys came across this?
I appreciate any help, have a great day.

If the facts of the case are as you explained, then yes they made an error. I cannot guarantee they will fix it, which is why I suggested an alternative option in the case that they do not.
Question: you didn’t answer about the length of case. Just to check on an assumption, was your father a citizen when he filed the i130?
It took almost 2 years because we could not submit a documents properly. Yes, he is USCitizen

will it be back to IR2 when we contacted them and shows the CSPA from USCIS' web page ? it is their fault right ?

Yes, IR2 age freezes at time i130 is filed. He should raise this with the embassy. I believe you have seen the Uscis extract in another thread that shows this.
It is very odd that it took so long to get an interview if i130 was filed in (I guess) 2017, were there any complications with the case?
I saw CSPA to prevent age out. What should I do ? I did contact NVC but they told me to call US embassy Manila since the case is in Manila. I'm very nervous because F11 might take 6 years ..

Hi ! My sibling has a interview in US embassy manila this February 8 2021 with my mom. He is 23 years old but when my dad filed a I-130, he was 20 years old . We got a email form embassy that the appointment is canceled because he turned to 21 on June 2018. Then, his Visa class changed form IR2 to F11. His case should be freeze when the time my dad filed a I-130 right ? Child Status Protection Act should applied to him. Why did they changed it ? Please help me
My dad is US citizen btw

To answer your question, it is technically possible for her to travel to the US. But a young Filipina has a high chance of being refused a visitor visa. It is very very difficult for young Filipinos to get a visitor visa to the US, especially if they are already showing they want to immigrate to the US (having a pending I-130).
But the only way to know is for her to apply and see. She may get lucky.
What is the best thing we should do ?

She is 20 years old from Philippines . She still in Philippines and we still waiting for her approval of i-130 as well. She does not have any Visa as of now.

Can my Daughter travel while waiting for her i-130 approval ? I'm U.S citizen.

Well USC father filing I-130 will freeze her age so no problems there. All he has to do is file the papers.
Yes . It is very sad knowing that it is our lack of knowledge about this case .

Just checking -- how old is your sister?
Don't pin your hopes on 2-day approval at USCIS. That case is an extreme outlier.
Yeah I know . She is 20 and will turn to 21 this December

Of course she has to wait. Slow down mother's interview until sister's case catches up. What was the thinking anyways - you just remembered the sister?
I dont think if we slow down my mom's interview because we have trouble with financial . My dad thought that since he is US citizen and if he file a I-130 for his spouse ( which is my mom), will get along with her children even he do not file a I-130 separately. But we contacted NVC and they said we have to file I-130 for my sister. That's why we looking for a way to get my sister ASAP or get along with my mom who still waiting for her interview letter/date

No, she can't. They don't issue K3 or K4 visas any more.
So we have to wait for her approval ? we are still waiting for my mom's interview and if my sister got her approval, will go along with my mom's case? I had read lately that they got a approval from USCIS only 2 days .

No. IR visas don't allow dependents. Your dad needs to file I-130 for your sister.
Yes he will file I-130 for my sister maybe next week . So while waiting for USCIS approval, she can go here in US by applying K-4 Visa?
-
Hi ! My dad wants to file a petition for my youngest sister. My mom already got her DQ and her visa type is IR1 . There has a possibility for my sister to apply as K4 visa eventhough my mom is already IR1 ? We are waiting for my mom's interview and we could not file a petition for youngest sister. Thank you

Hi ! Did you expedite for your parents ? My dad wants to file for one of my siblings . Thank you
