  1. :help:My fiance got his new job last January this year. He has a better salary than his old job. But the good thing is he's already a regular employee. Also make a better income to support me regularly.

But I am worried that we may end up showing his income tax from his previous job. He has a less than $2000 a month salary because he can't make any full time since he is also attending school at that time. Would that give us any problem in the future?

But we could provide though from his present job his pay stubs and certificates from his new job as well.

Please advise... It would be a great help.

    Thank you!

  2. This is frustrating me to no end. I am trying to figure out what the mailing address to my fiance is but I never knew that a simple thing like this would be the most difficult part for me with the process.

When I ask for her address she tells me:

#**** b-* l-** int. maligaya calamansian haccci village caloocan city

Now maybe I am wrong but I don't think the Philippines address are written like that. I asked her to write it out like I would on an evelope but she keeps putting it on one line. Is she correct? I need to mail her the paperwork to sign and I need to make sure the address is right on the paperwok. Anyone with experience in Philippine address help me break it down so its more legible to a post worker?

    Eric

Eric, I think she meant is:

    Maligaya Calamansian,

    Haccci Village,

    Caloocan City

But the problem there is, she didn't state any name of Barangay where that Village belongs to. I think she needs to clarify it with her family or relatives to what exactly her address because I could really tell that it is lacking and it might delay your processing.

  3. Hi everyone! I registered this website I think a couple of months ago. I don't remember exactly how I ended up here. Lol!

But anyways, my fiance and I are about to file for my K1 Visa this end of the month as we're still waiting for his Certificate of Citizenship. But as we are getting closer to processing, I am getting very nervous about all the possiblities that will occur. But everytime I get so nervous even just byt hinking about it. I make sure to read all your succesful stories and somehow it encourages me in a lot of ways. It makes me optimistic and be patient with all this processing.

One thing that makes me nervous is that I don't know what would be the best thing that I will do in order for me not to be denied in the near future. I'm so anxious with everything. I don't know how to start and how long will we undergo this process. I can't wait to be with him anymore and I want this to be done as soon as possible.

I've known my fiance way back 4 years ago in a common friends party but we never had any pictures back then since we didn't have the oppurtunity to get to know more since he left back to US. He was petitioned by his parents and he left the Philippines when he was 5 years old. He's also my cousin's neighbour in our hometown. After we met at that party, it was love at first sight for him. But I didn't notice that since I was in relationship with another man. Then for how many years he came looking for me but our fate didn't crossed back that soon. Until I went to our hometown's channel chatting (mIrc). He was online there and then we talked. It was an answered prayer for him that we finally met again. So he added me in Friendster and started a new friendship again. We became close and he comforts me when I was broken hearted with my previous boyfriend. He became part of my life and we communicate everyday until now.

So he came to visit me last April and spend the whole 10 days together with friends and families. But we didn't get a lot of pictures with my family at that time. But we do have some in his family. Then he'll be coming again this November to visit me and we'll have a late celebration on our first anniversary and to have more proofs for my K1 visa. He courted me and I accepted his love last October 12 and we're going to have our anniversary soon.. Yepee!

What scares me now is that, he just became regular in his new job and it worries me that maybe we'll have problems regarding financial support. He'll be 1 year this January in his work. But he pays his taxes regularly and has no problem with it. I'm just worried that maybe the embassy might question us about his financial status since he just had his new job not long ago. But he's supporting me financially every week. How do they check on my fiance financial status? and how would they estimate it?

Also he's still living with his mom since he's still waiting for me to come so we could move to a new place together. Would that affect my visa status? Oh! and also I made a scrap book of all our pictures and tickets and remembrance. Can I bring them instead? Will they allowed scrap books instead of an ordinary album. It's my new hobby and I made detail to detail on every pictures, too! Is it a good idea?

I hope this will give you guys a better pictures of our situation. I'm really having quite a lot of emotions on this matter. I know you feel the same way when you're still on my shoe. I will greatly appreciates all your responses, advises and guidance to my upcoming process. I'm very glad I found this website. People here are the best! God Bless To All and best wishes!

Thank you very much! Cheers! (L)

  4. :help: How long exactly for a K1 Visa needs to be process? What are the maximum and minimum months of waiting and preparing?

My fiance lives with his mom and her sister as well. But he's still renting and paying some other bills in their house. His mom doesn't want him to leave. According to my fiance, their where they're living now is under his name and his sister. Is it possible that he could use it as one for his assets for additional proofs? Or it's not necessary?

  5. Yes, you have to be free to marry before you can file. If the final divorce decree states a waiting period to remarry then the petioner is not free to marry and must wait out that period before he/she can file the I-129f. In my case, I had to wait 6 months after my divorce was final to file my I-129f...

And I don't think you can circumvent this requirement by going to another state...

Well, he's from the state of California. I think San Francisco. I hope he would be able to petition him as what he'd been promising her. I justw ant my friend ot be happy. That's all.

Thank you guys for your help. I gladly appreciate it.

  6. :luv: To make thinsg fast... Why don't you try to make a late registration for your child and have it done immediately.

That's what we did with my brother's daughter. She was his daughter from another woman and then he wants to bring her to US as well. So in order to make things easier. We made a late registration for my neice and then we submitted the birth certificate. It was successful and approved.

So why not try it. Maybe it will work out for you, too.

  7. I have a friend and her boyfriend is still on a pending case on his divorce. Until it's still is pending. He promised my friend he would start filing by August. Would that be possible?

Is there any law on that? I mean does the court allows a person who just got approved on his divorce and at the same year he would be able to petition her fiance? I'm just kind of confuse and worried because I don't want my friend to expect any further from his assurance.

    Please advise. Thank you! :help:
